MaKaN TimE!

tried out few new restaurants recently. last sat was at tampines 1. wanted to eat at the jap restaurant with the similar concept as marche and shokudou, but there were juz too many pple. in the end ate at this restuarant - SayCheeze. inferring from the name, it specialises in all kinds of cheese cakes. but at the end of it, we were already too full to try any. next time ba.

the portion looks small, but it's really quite filling. alot of salmon chunks too ~ the variety is quite wide. worth trying. next time will go for the cheesecakes. :)

8/6/09 was the 5.5 years anni of me and hubb. 'celebrated' at Chen Fu Ji chinese resturant @ clark quay. one of the specialities is the crab fried rice.

i think the fried rice so-so only.. too dry and i still prefer fried rice with 腊肠. think mum's fried rice is more yummy. hehe. generally the restuarant serves the same variety of food as a 煮炒 stall - dishes like mapo toufu, hotplate toufu, sweet & sour pork, fried chix wings etc. juz that the price is sooo much steeper. the horfun there r selling at $18/plate.. dont know how many person tt plate can serve though..... i dont supposed i will go there again..since eating at a 煮炒 stall is juz as good.

3rd is hog's breath at toa payoh. hubb's finally completed his industrial attachment and is now free to lunch with me le. so during my lunch time, we went to try out at this new restuarant in tpy.

hog's breath specialises in steaks. the portion is very big.. and of cuz, the price is not cheap either.this plate costs $29.. lucky with hsbc card still can discount 20%. gee. it also comes in aussie cut which is even bigger in portion. good for the angmohs.

even the rodeo wings came in such big portion. we couldnt finish all. and i think it's not nice. dont order if u go there. :(

generally the food is alrite. i find the price abit steep though.. but given the portion, if u can finish all up, i guess the pricing is quite reasonable ba?
