went dinner at Terra Cafe @ Vivo yesterday with pa, ma and hubb.
*
ate there once long long time ago and yesterday was the 2nd time there. the pricing is reasonable as the portion of food is really huge. also, a wide variety of food on the menu. worth trying.
*
*pa's pork chop rice. 2 huge pieces of pork chop. im suprised at the portion when it came. the meat's abit tough though. could be much better if it's tender*
*
*my beef lasgana. presentation doesnt look tt good yea. but the taste not tt bad. suddenly i tot lagsana is somewad like meehoon kueh... u know.. pieces of flour with meat.. lol*
*
*hubb's chix bake rice. this one is a thumb-down. very very dry and the cheese is not all that melty*
*mum's kung-pao chix rice. large portion again. there were juz soo many pieces of chix. i think the meat is more than wad 1 person can consume.. the taste abit too much on the sour side.. *
*fish fritters. again did not expect it to come in such huge pieces. mmm.... not piping hot when it arrived.. bit disappointed*

all in all, im impressed with the portion and the variety of food tt they serve. all set meals come with soup and dessert and entitled to 15% discount. cheap and good i will say. can try :)
and, there's one nonya and baba restaurant at Vivo. it's next to Tung Lok, at one corner of the shopping centre, serving nonya food. tt restaurant is really expensive and not worth the $$ at all. one curry fish head + one sambal kangkong + one cuttle fish + 2 coffees + rice + wadever charges = $78. i could easily get the same kind of food at the zhichar stall downstairs for <$35!! if i've known earlier, i'd rather eat at Tung Lok, at least Tung Lok is a famous brand!
