Grateful for a PH!!!

 Break the 累ness abit.

Haha

And rayous is sort of hooked to this pokemon game these days....

Quite popular wor, usually will have a crowd surrounding these machines. Can find in many locations too, from inside fairprice to inside OG. Really.

Ok la, according to hubb, half an hour play is about $8 bucks. Much cheaper than going to TimeZone.

Dinner at the cck safra...... The one that can sing and eat.... Much crowded than the time we went... Much noisy than before... And also the sound system cmi today... Mikes were v soft.. And long list of songs, gotta wait quite long b4 it was my turn. Booboo.

Ok, more PHs pleassssssse!

Excursion for some little boy!

Going sentosa wor. Lol

Their school has been brought over by another brand.

So, will be changing uniforms soon.

And honestly, im really not 熟with the staff at this centre vs the old centre which both boys attended... Maybe cuz its a much bigger centre? Or maybe cuz of covid, so there werent many get togther sessions in the past? Or maybe cuz i hardly send/pick raythorous from school...?

Abit guilty, cuz like not as involved in the school stuff as previous. Opps.

Anyways, he'll be graduating soon.

Good lor. Finally both boys in one same school again. We no need to 两头跑。

Woohoo!

BanGkoK DaY 6 - 15 JuNe 2023

Day 6 of our bkk trip!

Bf, yummx

毫不吝啬... Such big pieces of mangoes!

And the attractions for this day, were also unplanned for! We only booked the tour during bf. Hahha!

To Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market!

Super far journey... 2hrs car ride!!!!

Finally reached!

Sailed through the river with shops selling all sorts of souvenirs, that basically can also be found at the common markets or shops.

And the prices are mad high! Bargaining is a MUST here. Basically the seller will tell u the price, and when u say no, they will pass u the calculator to reoffer them. Then both can haggle until u come to a satisfactory price.

But even after bargaining, the price is still very high. To put things in perspective, a fan was offered to us at THB650. After bargaining, we got it at THB250. But the exact same thing..... was only THB80 at the railway market!!!!!!

So, kind of unfortunate that we went to floating market first. Kenna dock big!

Buying food from boat vendors.. And eating on the boat. What an experience!

A quick visit to a monastery

And continue the journey. To be fair, i do like this experience alot. Though weather was hot, there was breeze as the boat sailed, so not all that hot. Quite 舒服 actually.

And then, after back in sg, i got to knoe thru the comments in TripAdvisor that actually we had been scammed. Ok la, maybe 'scam' is too strong a word. Should be 'cheated' ba.

Apparently, the pier that the taxi dropped us, is not the real entrance to the floating marketing. That pier will charge super high fee as compared to the real entrance. And the taxi drivers are in cahoots with the tickets sellers at the pier.

Duhhhhhh..... To think that we hired the driver through a legitimate (or so we tot) company.... Was already quite surprised why is it not a private hire car that came picked us, but a taxi. Mmmmmm.

***updates: hubb sort of feedbacked this to the company. Apparently, the high fee charged was because we got a motor boat. The one at the actual entrance are all paddle boats and the tour duration is also much shorter. That's y our fee was much higher.....O well.

Next was to the railway market!

Saw this place on tv before. Happy to finally get to visit!

Makan time! Errr. Tomyum noodle, but not that yummy leh

We reached about 3.30pm... But as we ate in the restaurant, many of the shops start packing up liao.

By the time we finished makan, many shops already closed.

Lucky still managed to buy some stuff from the remaining shops. Things r very cheap here! Happy shopping =)

A foresaken child. Lol

And the hi light - the train arriving! Last train for the day liao, at 5.40pm.

Ok la, b4 the train is arriving, the stalls start packing liao. Then police will be out to clear the tracks liao. Not as if super last min then they pack and keep.

But still quite dangerous la i feel...

After that, back to hotel to put down the barangs before dinner at the night market nearby.

到地, and low price. The rice, noodle items generally THB50 to THB80.

I honestly dont mind retiring in bkk

And more bbq street food!

Yea, very fruitful day with many new experiences!

Happy!

Sort of an impromptu running session again!

Jiayou!!!!

Monday, June 19, 2023

Took 1 day extra leave today, with the intention to accompany rayous 1 on 1. Afterall, it's his June holiday right.

But then.... Felt abit guilty towards didi, so asked rayous if he's ok to ask didi along. And so, instead of a 1-1, it became a 1-2. Uhhhh

Took them to the jcube hotpot!! Hahahaha. Supposed to be a date for just rayous and me, cuz didi is not a fan of hotpot. But lucky he gave some face and ate some. Lol

Happy. Finally the boys are big enough to accompany me to a hotpot meal.

And then ice cream treat!

And then played awhile at the westgate playground, before we headed home.

Hoho.

Back to work tmr

Aiiiiiiiiiii

End of holiday and back to reality.

Siannnnn max.

Jiayou!!!

BanGkoK DaY 5 - 14 JuNe 23

Day 5 of the bkk trip!

This morning ate at the mainstream restaurant liao

Variety is not bad too, though not as wide as Baiyoke's

Coolest is this rotating ice cream display! Many flavours to choose from. Yummx

The hotel's pool which we did not swim in. Hubb's plan was to make this a super relax trip, so his plan was to have a few free days to just swim and relax in the hotel. Unfortunately, i packed those free days with activities! So no time to swim in the pool liao. Lollll

The main attraction for the day was Pororo Water Park!

It is located on the top floor of a shopping mall (Central Plaza) Cool!

Very much the same as our Adventure Cove really. BUT, the q is really short. Or shld i say, there is no q at all? So we managed to get on all the big slides a number of times. Also got children playground, lazy pool etc.

And the entrance fee is much lower too, below S$10 per pax. But need to pay to rent the floats and also the small peddling boats for the children if they want to play. But not expensive de. All in sure still cheaper than Adventure Cove.

Wonder how they survive and maintain this place leh. Cuz really not many people... Or maybe cuz it was a weekday? Mm.

And then, hiccup again! This rayous bichak his swimwear!!! LL got to buy a new one at the park. But they only sell the pants for boys. So he went half naked for the rest of the play. Kekekek

And then.. Bbt again! Errr. Their bbt.. Generally cmi...

And they tried on a 9D ride in the mall. Dont know where the 9Ds come from though. Haha

Then back to our hotel... Still managed to catch some food at the lounge b4 the dinner session ends at 7pm. Yay!

After dinner, we went Asiatique. This was one of the unplanned destination, recommended by the driver. He said its a night market with many stuff to buy and see.

Can take a ferry from the pier nearby our hotel, to beat the traffic on road.

Tada!

Once reached, i know this is not the kind of night market im expecting liao. I thought it is that kind of pasar malam night market, but it turned out to be the Clarke Quay kind of night market. Yea, the atas indoor kind.

Dinner here. Yea dinner again. Fat die me.

Yummx

To be fair, is many things to see and buy la, including one stall selling all the fried insects and creepy crawlies. Gurp.

But the things here not that cheap leh i feel.

The boys with a ice cream inside a marshmellow

And.... We took the last ferry back to the pier, which is at 11.20pm if i remb correctly.

Know what?

No people liao!! The whole ferry only 4 of us as passengers ! Ha

Yea, this Asiatique... Not really my kind of night market. Will probably give it a miss if i know of other better markets.

Lol
