A visit to gardens by the bay... Again! 

With the mooncake festival mood in the air! 

Dinner at the restaurant. Cute little duck buns. Lol

Before we start our touring! 

So many times to gardens by the bay, but really the 1st time we went on top the ocbc skyway!

Not bad, nice scenary up there.

Day 3 and check out day for our staycay!

As said, our stay this time round doesn't come with bf, so, we prepared our own bf lor. Lol

And some last photo-takings before checking out. 

And, just to show how quiet rws is.... 

USS is closed. Adventure cove is closed.  Trickeye museum is closed. And so are the many other retailers, all closed. 

Honestly like a 死城。。。only a handful of people. 

And then lunch at hardrock cafe! Our 1st time eating at a hardrock restaurant. Ha. 

And yes, it's yummy!! The ribs are very nice!! 

And then went sentosa and took the beach tram. Sentosa is more happening than rws, at least more people. 

Had always wanted to take pic with this iconic structure, finally did! Yay! 

And then let the boys play at the nearby nestopia. 

This Didi, really still as timid leh. Doesn't even dare to climb up and take the slide down. Ahh. 

Kor kor still not bad, dare to climb. Lol

And then back to cck for dinner, at the Warren Country club. Nice view! 

Yup, and that sums up our 3d2n stay at RWS Equarius Hotel!

Umm..fun but not so fun an experience, becuz on the day we checked in, hubb was told that his co-worker is a cfmed case of Covid19, and there was quite abit of hoo-ha going on, which sort of spoilt our holiday mood. 

Yup. Nonetheless, still good to take a break for awhile. 

And till our next staycay, at Hyatt Hotel in Dec, to celeb hubb's bday! 

Woohooo! 

Pigging out at morgansfield at star vista...

 Had a new love for ribs, after trying out the ribs at hardrock cafe during our staycay (will blog abt that later).

And the verdict is... The one at hardrock is better!!

Shall try out the 各大 famous ribs soon.. Lol

Soon, but not so soon la.. Since back to 2pax dining in on Mon. 

Sigh.

And Rayous's piano lesson also gotta shift online for the next 2 lessons.

DaY 5 oF BloCk LeaVe

 Ahh.

Technically last day of my 5days block leave.

Pak tor with hubb!!! 

Early lunch at this pancake shop - Flipper's - in taka

Very very nice pancakes i must say.. Both the sweet and savoury. Yummx. 

Then went temple pray, before going to suntec to catch the movie - Shang Chi.

Not bad a movie, but... can really do better if they cast a better looking male lead.. Lol

After that went for massage, before picking the boys again.

If everyday can be a holiday like this.

Haaa

And, ytd just said don't know when can loosen the restrictions... Then today... News of tightening again!!!!

Back to 2pax dining wef coming Monday. 

Haiii.... 

走走停停，停停走走。。 。

Really don't know what to say anymore....

Sigh. 

Day 4 of BlocK LeaVe

Basking in the sun!! 

 On block leave this whole week.... Might as well take it as a block leave right, since Mon and Tues already on leave. Else, have to block another 5days leave.. Waste of leave xia...

In the past, block leave sure will be used for travel. 

But now no travel liao, so block leaves really use to nua. 

Last yr block leave still can bring the folks out to eat and walk walk... 

But this period now, better not touch the folks. Let them stay at home, safest!!! 

So ytd already nua 1day at home. Today also nua. Lucky tmr hubb is on leave, we can go paktor for awhile liao. 

Lol

Supposed to meet up with the gals this sat, but got cancelled due to the increasing cases outside... 

Then also cannot meet the bnf peeps, cuz we have 6 of us... 

Same goes for ex colleagues group, more than 5pax, cannot meet. 

Sigh. 

And given the situation now, don't know when then the restrictions will be loosen. 

OK la. Nvm la. Just stay at home and stay safe OK.

花好月圆庆中秋！

Just back to home from our staycay. 

As said every year, we will go to the fair and taste the mooncakes b4 deciding which one to buy. 

Even last yr, we also went to the fair at taka... 

But this year, really really no go liao. Cuz, given last yr's experience, go also no use, as tasting is not allowed. 

And the weirdest thing is... We checked online for a nbr of brands, and many are already sold out! Wah..so popular meh.. So fast sold out... 

Anyways, this yr really abit boxim la. 

Know where we bought our mooncakes from?? 

Petrol kiosk!!! 

Omg right 

Happened to be at the kiosk and saw this tung lok mooncake.. And very nice packaging also.. So why not? Tunglok not too bad what... 

So as usual, one for mil and one for ourselves. Haa

And quite yummy leh, really. 

And then this hubb, backside itchy, went again to buy this other brand also selling from the kiosk. 

Actually no brand one la. Some msia manufacturer...

Nice cute packaging, but the mooncakes taste really 不行。。。

Anyway, 有得吃就好。

StayCaY @ EquAriuS HoTeL DaY 2 - 20 SepT 2021

Day 2 of our staycay at RWS Equarius Hotel! 

Our booking doesn't come with bf... and apparently, their bf is not the buffet kind, so, not worth to top up for the bf.. 

And so, went to eat mac in the morning.. 

And then walk walk ard rws...

And then lunch at this beach restaurant.... Literally a restaurant at the beach!! 

Such a damnn nice place to chill....!! 

That is, without the kids!! 

With kids, it's quite a nightmare really! 

Have to make sure that they don't travel too far out into the water..... 

And tahan them getting all messed out in sand, mud, water!! 

Omg max! 

Cmon, food, sun, sea, sand and children, just don't go together! Remove the children from the equation pls!!!

Yup, so, though its a super nice place... I din really enjoy... 

And also cuz it was kind of impromptu to dine here... So we din really dress appropriately and prepare ourselves properly... 

U know, come this kind of place, of cuz must wear bikini de right??!

OK, nvm, sure will visit again. Next time 会更好。。。！

After that, went back to the room to sleep for awhile, before swimming at the hotel's pool

Not really a children friendly pool, cuz no children pool. Only adult pool. Ha. 

So we had to stay near the stairs or carry the boys to 'swim'. Lol

And dinner......? 

Rubbish food again! 

Grabfood in... 

Woah.
