Tmr's soh soh's bday, and we celebrated for her today. went to tiong bahru plaza. there
's this jap's la mian restaurant. erm... don know wad's the english name, but the chinese name is 别府. yep... ate till so full... and i paid for the meal. haii.. just at this period when im so cash tight. well, mum offered to pay me back, but suan le ba. long time since i gave them a treat. though im really poor now, but i guess, $50 bucks i can still afford ba. :s sometimes i really dislike going makan with ma and sohsoh. ma will always want to order many stuff.. she'll claim tt she wants to eat. but when the food comes, she doesnt want them anymore. and wad happens? she'll force me and soh soh to eat them up! then when i asked her y she order when she doesnt want to eat, she'll say she ordered for sohsoh to eat.. wad the... if pple want, pple will order one rite.... gei kiang!! order order, in the end doesnt want to eat and force others to eat. full means full la.... how to force worr!!! irritating de! always like to make decisions for others.... grrr..

so who's soh soh? hehe.. soh soh = 嫂嫂... not sis-in-law horr, but is the cantonese 称呼 for "auntie". she's my neighbour la. a very close neighbour. hmmm.... close till hmm... like a second mum to me? she knows my relatives and my relatives know her too. she'll always come over to my house to chat with ma.. and .. ya la.. juz close la. according to ma, soh soh was already staying here when we moved here. we've been staying here for >25 years? so, soh soh watch
ed me grew up. i remembered when i was young, when i was still in primary sch, there would always be dental appt in sch every now and then. and most of the time, it was soh soh who brought me there cuz no one's free in my family. when i was young, ma and pa both gotta work, and sis n bro gotta go sch. so i'll be all alone at home. then soh soh will come over and helped do the chores at home, like sweeping the floor and mopping the floor. when it rained, she'll come over to help me fetch the clothes back. now no more already la, since i already grew up le. but even till now, when ma's not at home, she'll buy me breakfast and if at night, if no one's at home and she knew ma neber cook dinner for me, she'll bring dinner over for me. not everytime la ... but occasionally will. she's really a v nice person. v thankful to have such a close neighbour. i remembered there's once, she came over when it rained, to help me collect my clothes. then, i think it was shimin, she was at my house and she was so surprised tt i had such a close neighbour. close till can juz come over to help me collect clothes. haha... im so very used to it.. but to others, i guess they'll be surprise.
