yesterday night was out with another grp of uni mates. ah yan, jo, yy and me.... yh and glo couldnt make it... yh juz met her last wk, but for glo, been some time since last met her le. wonder how she's doing.
*
supposed to meet at 8.30pm... but only me and jo made it at tt timing. the other 2 ladies came much later ~ tt left me and jo pondering if we r the slackers of the company as apparently the 2 of them were still busy at work. o wellz.
*
and so the 2 of us went ahead w/o them. ate sushi tei @ paragon. whahaaha ~ jap food is really my all-time fave. i realised almost every gathering, whichever grp of frens im with, it's usually jap food tt we end up with. wooho~!
*
wide variety of food @ sushi tei. i suppose it's a slightly higher end jap restauarant as compared to sakae or ichiban and class? the prices also steeper. but since it's payday and with jo, someone who enjoys jap food as much as i do, we couldnt care less.
*
actually we did not order alot of food, but somehow, it's filling and in the end, we had to pack some home. *tada.... the prawn tt's $7.50 each. real yummy. **the big scallops......... which we both find a little saltish. couldnt finish all. we ate 1 each and tabao the balance. lol..
*
*
and then.... the sea urchin sushi! wahhaha... long heard from colleague how yummy sea urchin tastes... my regret not to try any in japan... hence ytd, pyschoed jo to order them.. and... it's $10 for a plate.. which means 1 small piece is $5! hahha.. i guess it's the most ex sushi tt ive eaten b4. jo 'complaint' abit.. but not bad ma... 1st experience rite?? ahahah ~

but actually, nothing v fantastic lei. nua nua one.. then erm... also not too sure how to describe the taste, but really nothing v impressive. i guess in future if go japan again, must eat it fresh frm the catch frm the sea, then can truly experience the 'shiokness'.
*
and tt's me and dear jo....
o and 1 thing i wanna say. i guess i knw y sushi-tei is more ex... it's not abt the service, cux i dont think the service is v outstanding.. but the thoughtfulness. like i say, we tabao the 2 scallops and 2 sushies which we really could not finish. they packed them up nicely for us and include chopsticks, wasabi, soysauce inside... u know.. tt kind of small packet soy sauce and wasabi which costs $0.10 or $0.20 at those sushi shops? i mean, they really do not have to lorr.. afterall, it's juz leftovers and not fresh orders.. but they did include all those inside. real thoughtful. :)
anw after tt, sushi-tei was abt to close for the day... then we went outside and chatted till the 2 ladies finally arrived. then we head on to coffee club for them to eat. chatted chatted and chatted till almost 1am...
TGIF! meet up soon again gals!
later meeting hubby and tmr... it's my 1st driving lesson! im so looking 4ward. :) wish me luck!
