PonTiAn TriP

went on a small trip to msia pontian during the 3 days hols. went with hubb and his family. his mama wanted to visit some relatives there so took this hol to go lor. the bus journey was rather far, but still bearable. understand pontian is not a city area, so din really expect too much entertainment or wadsoever. and everything was within expectations ~

~the surroundings~

we left on friday afternn abt 1pm+. by the time we reached, alr 4 or 5pm+ le. took dinner at this seaside stall. nice food, nice scenery. shiok. but when it grew dark, it was quite hard to see wad we were eating. the food are relatively cheap. frm seafood, to a cup of corn. in s'pore, a cup of corn is $2, but there only RM2. so it's half the price!

~hubb's 2nd older bro, pa and ma. still has one eldest bro, but he did not go~

day 2 was to visit his relatives' hses. went to 2 person's hses. hmmm... the houses r big, but v old. and v ulu. in the inner of some ulu forest. lucky the relative drove us around.

overall it was a fun trip though the weather was super hot. basically nothing to do there.. juz relax lor. don have to rush for shopping or sight-seeing or wadsoever. things r in fact much cheaper. did eye-brow trimming there for RM3! usually it cost me $5, but this time round, i only did it for $1.50~ stunned? and also did threading there. read frm jo's blog tt her experience was a superr painful one. but for me, it's ok lei, not as terrible as she wrote. in fact, there wasnt much pain except for the forehead part where the lady told me there's more hair there. gd experience~
*din have enuff time to do somthing to my hair. but anw, i also don know wad to do to it. ha~ i guess i now know y so many m'sian like to come and work in s'pore le. the dollar really grows bigger. i realised my dollar is so much bigger there than here. my purchasing power increased so much. take the corn for example. with $2, i can only buy a cup of corn here. but there, i can buy 2 cups. perhaps, one day, if i earn enuff and time for me to retire, i mite consider moving to m'sia. buy myself a big car, a big hse and juz r&r there. in s'pore, it seemed tt we r more 'glam' and well-off, but in fact, we r all slogging for the high std of living here. things r getting more and more expensive.. everything rising except for payroll. how pessimistic can things get?
*
anw, tmr's getting back to work again. jiayou everyone~ work hard, WORK HARD!
