JaPaN DaY 5 - 15/5/2008

day 5 started with some photo-taking at the hotel....

after tt headed down to tokyo... v diff from the prev few days (except osaka).. prev few days at the more ulu places (again, except osaka).. with no hi-rise buildings.. but tokyo is the city, so definitely more happening and vibrant.

1st stop was to asakusa.. my fav place i guess.. many souvenirs shops lined up the streets. many many things to buy. the boxes of food... sooooo attractive. simply irresistable. but, trust me. only nice to look at but not nice to eat. and, narita airport has plenty to buy as well, so no need to buy along the way de.. juz buy all u want at the airport.. anyway... asakusa is famous for the big red lanterns..

next was to ueno... bought a pair of shoes there. no choice, the sole of my shoes came off, probably due to the snow ytd.. so bobian, has to get a new pair of shoes.. lunch was here as well.. had curry rice..

then to ginza.. the hi-end area. it's really boliao lar.. basically we went ginza solely for the sake of going. the guide only gave us 10mins... basically juz go there take a look.. and is literally take a look!

finally to shinjuku... but not as happening as wad i tot leii... i think osaka more happening~ not many pple there too.. wonder y..

then back to hotel. near our hotel there's this supermarket. so went there to take a look lor. super big supermarket.. many goodies there... *
