day 4 of japan... the day whereby most of the time was spent travelling on the bus. i must say the driver is super power..
*
cant exactly rem the itinery.. but i think the 1st stop was to a temple. it's the most ulu and secluded temple out of all the temples tt we went. not much visitors.. up in a hill (not exactly hill lar, but gotta climb a long flt of stairs b4 reaching)... and rather old and eerie. haa.. v unlike the others which we visited..
*
gotta cross this bridge b4 we can reach the temple..
*
*
*
i tink in most, if not all, of the temples in japan have this area whereby u can drink the water from nature. basically the guide told us to use the scoop to scoop the water, then do not drink 1st. have to use the water in the scoop to go over your left hand, then rite hand then wipe abit over your lips. all these r to cleanse the sin. then, collect water from the source (never from the pool) and drink. yepp..
*
nxt was a little ferry ride.. nothing much de.. juz a ferry ride. lol~*
*lunch for the day.....
*
*outside the place where we had our lunch..
*
*next was to some volcanoe places.. ermm.. cant rem the name..
*
*
the smoke... pungent sulphur smell..
*
*
this is a boiling pool.. actually got bubbles de.. juz tt cant see from the pic... wondering if i put a piece of meat in, will it be cooked instantly?
*
*
the most interesting thing abt this place is tt they sell eggs which are black. not century eggs hor.. but eggs with shells tt are black. apparently the eggs r cooked with the sulphur water or wad.. (cant rem wad the guide said) and tt's y they r black. and apparently, eating one black egg will enhance longevity as one egg will increase your lifespan by 7yrs. believe it or not.

next, we r on the way to mount fuji! super long bus ride again.....in btw got a stopping place for us to visit the toilet...
*this stopping place is v chilly already. when u breath in and blow out, there will be cold air coming out as well. hahha.. boliao but fun.. something which u can never experience in a normal singapore day. ~
*
the cold mist..
the cold mist..
*
*and finally, after don know how long was the ride... we finally reached mount fuji!
*
*
i like this pic alot. v nice contrast. big bright sun at the back, cold snow on the ground and on my hand. v nice pic.
*
it's funny how come the snow doesnt melt even with such bright and sunny sun. juz like how come it's still soo cold with the big sun on. anyway, the snow are v slippery. nearly slipped on a few occasions. phew~ and yeah, it's really v cold. but seriously, it's nothing v amazing. i think i've been to too many artificial indoors "snow" area... tt's y nothing v suprising. it's exactly like those indoor snow places. i think if snow is really falling from the sky, then it will excite me. but nonetheless, it's true and natural snow tt we r talking abt. so it's still fun lar.
*
*
*
o, and if you ever go mount fuji, pls make sure u went to the toilet b4 hand, becuz the toilet at mount fuji SIMPLY CANNOT MAKE IT. i really don understand y. Japan leiii... mount fuji leiii... world renowed tourist attraction leiii... how come the toilet is like tt??????????????????????????? basically the toilet has no flush and no water. only a hole. wadever comes out from your body will go into tt hole with no water to wash away. i know i shouldnt and is really stupid to do so, but my curiousity took the better of me and i took a peek into the hole. but, could see nothing, juz pitch black. maybe the hole is super deep. anyway, the smell is wooooo ~~again, believe it or not.
*
*
and finally, tt's me and my favorite corn. :) but.. not as yummy as i expected. ~
*
after mount fuji was another lonnng ride to our hotel.
*
dinner for the nite.. yum ~ tt's the lady tour guide..
*
hehe, think program ended there after dinner? haha.. nono.. the nite is still young!
*
*it's time for a hot spring bath! haha... the jap calls it the 'onsen'... hmmm... yah, it's all naked. but no men, of cuz! men in another area. quite an experience i must say. we were all so paisay and conscious.. but in the end, we still went ahead. the obasan frm chugoku totally not paisay de.. juz sat down there and scrub and bath.. with their figures and age also not paisay, so y should we rite?? oppppssss ~ ok la, i don mean tt lar. anyway, nothing to be paisay lar... u have wad i have, i have wad u have.. so it's all the same. and somemore, bathing only ma.. don think too much. lol~ tried hot spring bath in taipei also. but tt time v private, only me and han in our little hotspring hotel room, unlike this time. and taipei's hotspring will smell of sulphur, but japan de dont have. so it's like soaking in hot water. i don really enjoy la.. beginning is quite shiok but after some time, it gets really hot and uncomfy. tt's when soaking in the cold water next to the hot spring pool becomes an enjoyment. hahah~
*
after the bath, went back to hotel rm to try out the jap ice-cream. yum~
