OK, towards the last quarter of the yr.

 ya ya ya, swab result is back.

said to be 2 to 3days, but the result came back the next day. 

expected, cuz dad also kenna swabbed before, and his result came back the next day, even though he was also told that it will take 2 to 3 days.

ha.

ya la, i not so heng la, negative result ok!

but still super sianx.

why still kenna despite wfh, minimising outdoors and wearing mask!!

but i guess, the frequency of me kenna-ing has already reduced. 

in the past, i will get it like once every 3 or 4mths?

yes, that intense itch in the throat that will only go away after V.I.O.L.E.N.T coughing. that kind of cough which will open up ur stomach and puke out everything and leave u all teary..

yes, that kind of blocked nose which will blocked ur nose, ur ears, ur forehead....

yes, i will get it once every quarter.

but this yr, apparently, this is my 1st episode!!

the last time i had this was in oct last yr. damn bad that time. and in dec2018, also damn bad.. till i can still remember!! oh, and looking back at my blog, i was also complaining about the same shit in July2017. wah, looks like it's a yearly event!

yup, so now, still as bad.

went to the doc on wed and given med and did the swab. then mc for 3days. today still not any better, so went to see doc again. 

finally given antibiotics. 

yes, i know antibiotics cannot be anyohow given. but i know myself ok. whenever i have this, i will need antibiotics to clear. 

see, wasted 3days of mc without recovering.

urgh. 

but if 1st visit and i straight away tell doc that i want antibiotic, will it seem like im challenging the doc huh? ha.

siannx. each episode always will take damn long to recover.

And to address the myth that the swab test is superrrrr painful, it is not true.

No pain OK. Just uncomfortable. And done in 10sec OK.

终于等到弟弟的第一炮poo into the toilet bowl! wooohooo!

yes, since he turned 3, i have been trying to get him potty trained. honestly, i tot didi will be more ready than rayous, who did it shortly after he turned 3. but actually no leh. still remb that period was CB period, everybody were at home. so i kept forcing him to go toilet to pee. until both of us were frustrated. LOL. 

then when school restarted, the teacher asked if we did force him to go toilet. cuz before school stopped, he was still quite ok in school to go toilet. but after school re-started, he was resistant to go toilet. 

oppps. 

then the teacher told us to stop forcing him, just let him be. then i ok lor, LL lor. 

and then eventually, he came home without diaper. but at home, he still will request to wear diaper. then slowly, at home, he also stopped using diaper le. but, he wont poo, and he'll only poo after we put him on diaper at night. 

diaooo! 

but just now, he finally sit down on the toilet bowl and poo-ed liao!

hahahahhaha!

yah mann. 

very happy. 

another milestone reached! actually the whole thing transformed quite fast. from he came home without diaper, till today, probably abt 2wks only?

finally can start saving some money on diapers liao. though i just bought one brand new pack. ha.

another experience in life that one really doesnt have to worry too much. 

actually really have to thank the school. and probably peer pressure!

but now.... sept will be over soon (why so fast huh?!)... and gotta wait for mgmt to announce if there are any changes to the current arrangements liao...

honestly, i think this has been the longest period that i was away from office. even longer than 4mths maternity ok!

april 13 was my 1st day officially of wfh. so now, 5mths already!

and i havent been back to my raffles place office since like feb??? cuz was deployed to tpy in early feb due to split ops.... wow... 

and since wfh is proven to be workable for us, why not just status quo???

just continue la.. plss... plssssss....

so much more convenient and time-saving. no more MAD RUSH. really very happy wfh.

GE 2020

 yay, i know this is like way overdue....

but.. our GE2020!

hahaa

the most remembered GE, honestly, was the year with Mr Yam Ah Mee being the returning officer. and i always tot it was the last GE that he appeared. who knows, it wasnt the last GE, it was the last last GE in 2011!

whoot! and it felt like juz ytd. how time flies...

and as usual, my blog is such a nice recording machine. look at what i wrote abt GE2011 here. 

and then we have GE2015 here. hahaha. look at the qns at the end that i posted to myself. LOLLLL.

ok, so back to this year's GE.

definitely a 'special' one amid the COVID19. so there was no rally, no large get-togethers or whatsoever. 

and i felt that it was quite a quick move by the govt to hurriedly hold the GE after giving out all the payouts and assistance schemes. afterall, what can be a better time right?

and it sure was an exciting GE, cuz many of the wards were really competitive. and i think one really gets more involved in GE when one gets older. when younger, really doesnt know or care what's going on. but now older liao, will follow more.

so as usual, hubb and i stayed up the whole night to catch it! even prepared snacks, lol!

actually i fell asleep while waiting for the kids to fall asleep. but managed to wake up again. haha.

and the results were quite ummmm how should i put it... 

though opposition took down another ward, i had expected opposition to take down more wards. ya.

anyway, nothing much this year la. just that there's a jamus lim whom is super famous now. and a couple of veterans whom left the limelight including LTK, GCT, and my personal fave - alamak-look-alike (u guess who is it).

and reported in the news that some of the wards had got super long q that were like hours?? saw in the news that the old folks still had to q... quite terrible really... q for a few hours is definitely not acceptable la.... particularly amid this COVID19.... omg.

lucky for me, voting has always been a breeze. just go downstairs, chop chop vote and go, be it when i was staying at mum's place, or my boonlay place, or my current place. very fast de!

 Oh and I was quite happy to know that our voting venue this yr was at ytps, tot can tour the school abit during the vote. But nah, all designated routes, cannot anyhow tour. Boohoo. Haha. 

ok, next GE. should be 2024 or 2025 le bah. 

woahhhh.

will this coronavirus still be around? do we still have to wear masks and observe social distancing? will i still be working from home?

so by then rayous will be 9 or 10yrs old and didi will be 7 or 8yrs old. which pri sch will they be in? will didi be promoted to kor kor? will my this helper be still my helper? will i still be with my good old employer???
