time flies. if not for my foresight to take leave today, i would have been back to work today already! that sucks!
anyway, it had been a busy and fruitful xmas. done quite abit of shopping for gifts for colleagues, friends and nieces.. and great catching up with friends this festive season.
my 1st gift exchange session for this year. with dear gals.. am soo glad that i'd bought a good gift this year! 一雪前耻!!! LOL

steamboat session at bee's house. 1st time to her new flat in bedok.

it's the 10th year into our friendship. soo nice to just sit around over a hotpot and catch updates from each other :) blessed.

eve dinner was buffet at hotel fort canning.
it's one of the worse hotel buffets i had. the variety is really pathetic. there's no sashimies, no oysters, no choco fondue... nothing! and it costed $160+ for the 2 of us! i wonder if it's only during xmas eve that it's so expensive. totally not worth it!
the desserts are also pathetic.. and the whole place was soooo crammed.. we practically had to plan our steps before we move...
after that we went town and there were, as usual, sooooooo many pple... we decided not to sqz with the pple and so, we sat and waited at lido for our movie cz12 to start at 2345hr.

had bbq with hubb's friend on xmas day. long time since i last bbq. shopped for food at imm giant before we proceeded to nich's house for the bbq.
dont think we bought alot.. but there's still quite abit of wastage at the end of it.. over bbq..

after that was game time.. played monopoly deal and taboo. never tried both games before... goes to show im really not a game person...
played till 11pm.. could have played till later, if not for 3 of them had to work today.
tmr will be meeting bnf friends for xmas exchange and friday will be meeting cmd colleagues :)
all in all, this xmas has been a good one. great shopping, great catching up... :)
