PerTh Day Six

day 6 was the helicopter day!

when we went macau, we found out that we can take helicopter rides from macau to hk.. the 1 hr ferry ride wil then reduce to a 17mins helicopter ride... but that will cost about sgd400+. and so, we did not take the heli option though i really wanted to try riding on one.

but here in perth, there'r also heli rides!!! still expensive.. but probably more affordable. ride is about 5mins...and the cost was aud79, which was abt sgd100. expensive, but since i've never tried b4 (hubb tried once when he was in army), we went ahead.

on board the helicopter! eh, not sure if im sensitive, but are the angmohs being racist here? cuz we saw many ang moh couples boarding the heli in pairs. but for us, we had to share the ride with another indian couple. when we enquired with the lady why so, she explained that angmohs are bigger and they satisfy the weight per flight. but for us asians, who are smaller and lighter, the heli can accomodate more pple per flight.

well, sounds reasonable. but i stil did not quite like it that though we paid the same fee amount, the angmoh get to travel in twos while we had to travel in fours. esp with 2 others who are not particularly friendly. lucky only a 5mins ride and no interaction required.

~ the female pilot. cool eh? ~

~ meddling with the many buttons ~

~ views from the heli ~

it's not a bad experience but it's not exactly fantastic either. the ear phones had v bad reception and were quite irritating. but overall, since i've never tried b4, it's worth trying. but really nothing too special.

~ bursewood entertainment resort at the back. where the casino is ~

~ and we had our little red car changed to a little white car. cuz initally we rented the car for only 4 days. but we decided to extend the rental period and were given a white car to replace the red car which someone else already booked~

next was to harbourtown shopping centre where we had our lunch. nice!!

~ also tried out the bubble tea there. but not as nice as sg's de ~

harbourtown is an outlet shopping where the goods are supposed to be much cheaper than elsewhere. managed to buy a few tops which are really cheap, but the material so so only and the design quite plain de. but since it's soo cheap, then juz buy a few lor. but other than that, the nikes, adidas and other brands are still exp.

the packing machines again... for u to pay your parking fees...

the shops at harbourtown close at 5 sharp. think all shopping malls are the same.

dinner was  pizza from domino's. hubb loveees the pizzas here. and surprisingly, i came across this pizza shop concidently in sg!!!! met up with ex-colleagues to a ulu jap restaurant at killiney road and on our way there, i saw this shop that looks like domino's and yes! it's domino's! it's at killiney road.. we havent try out the pizza there, but will sure do so soon.

i realised for the many pizza shops in perth, there are no tables inside. tink mainly are for takeaways, not for eat-ins.

and finally, one dress that i bought from harbourtown..
