 Day 2 of our staycay! 

Breakfast! 

Not the buffet kind, but the set kind. Also good, prevented me from over eating. Lol

After that, to adventure cove! 

Hubb booked the cabana this time round. More privacy and cfm got place to put our stuff. Got a locker and also private shower, not bad wor. Wheeee =) 

Like the previous time that we came, it also rained halfway! Lucky only rained for awhile then stopped liao. But after that, all stations still had to come to a stop... Cux of lightnings and thunder.. Duh.... 

But unlike the previous round which i remb was quite 狼狈，this time round we just waited in the cabana... Haha

But still wasted quite abit of our time la. Almost 1hr, i think? 

This time round i think the boys enjoyed alot more. 

Previous round just kept playing at the children water playground, but this time round, rayous went on a few slides and both also enjoyed the wave pool alot. 

Sadly raythorous still does not meet the height requirement for the slides. Lol. Next round ok, boy! 

The boys were super tired after that. Lucky got seats on the shuttle bus and they fell asleep on the bus.. And then it started to rain again..... And no choice, we sat the bus for 2 rounds, before alighting. Smart choice! Cant imagine lugging all the barangs, with 2 cranky kids, and raining!!!! 

And sentosa/rws now super packed with people liao! Many many mannnny tourists!!! So unlike during covid high period! 

Today was especially bad! So bad so that we gave up taking the tram, and simply walked back to our resort!!! 

Wanted to eat the steamboat at our resort, but sold out liao. Boohoo! 

So ate almost the same thing as ytd. 

Ok la, 有得吃就好。

Yeaaa!

Else dont know how to enjoy properly, even though my mc already ended as of yesterday.

Oh, last day of my mc liao!! 

Dont know to be happy or sad. 

Lol

Happy cuz i can soon resume bau liao, can go maskless, go back sleep in the master room, use the master toilet, interact with the boys, go out, etc. 

Sad... Also cuz can resume bau liao.... Work!! And no more nua-ing at home liao.

Ok to be fair, this time round not as bad as the first time round. 

I sort of forgot how bad it was during the 1st time liao, until i read back the posts. 

So in comparison, this time is milder i feel. 

A little sore throat and blocked nose on sat, so i self medicated. Very common for me, so i din really think abt it. 

Sunday morning was also still okay. 

Until woke up from the Sunday nap, started to feel feverish and very dry cough. 

And that was when i felt not right liao. Faster took out a test kit and true enough, kenna liao. 

Boohoo

Very sian and worried. Really scare it will spread within the house... 

The first time round, rayous kenna first and spread to me. So in a way, i was not alone, and i dont have to worry abt spreading to rayous. 

But this time round, i really have to try my best not to spread to them. So i slept in Raythorous's room, used the helper's toilet, mask on and even when sleeping, i also put on mask ok!!!! Really! 

But i still shower in the master room toilet la. Lol

But after that, will spray this! 

Happy that i bought this xia. Chanced upon it at guardian i think, so just bought it and now comes in handy liao. Lol. Don't know if it really works or not la. But spray liao, at least 心里feels more 安心. Hahahhahah. 

Yea. So i think i had fever only on sunday. After that no fever liao i feel. So this part already much better than the previous time when i fever 3days. Sore throat also not as bad as the previous time. Though runny nose and cough still persist.. Even till now.. 

School and student care were closed on monday, so this rayous was at home and my rest was disturbed. Then raythorous came back halfday on tues, cuz hubb might end work late and not able to pick him in time in the evening. So rest disturbed again. 

Wed was shiok, nua whole day. Do some housework, then tv almost whole day. Was watching this mediacorp drama - live ur dreams.

Abit guilty la, cuz really nua whole day. But im on mc what, why cannot nua?! 

Then thurs decided to be less nua. Decided to cook, cuz the kids have been eating out for many many days liao....... 

Tada! 

Yea, so... Today Friday liao lo. 

Will also cook today. 

Wahaha. 

Yea. Still runny nose, cough and throat still abit sore. 

Hope can get well soon lo!!

Sick liao, still got to do tons at home.

 Haha, finally tried out this portable blender which the girls bought for me! 

Not bad, it works oh! But the capacity is quite small, too much and it cannot start. 

Lol

Basically half a packet of milk, 3 small strawberries, half a big banana, that's about the capacity. 

But not bad oh, can make out to be one glass. 

Yuuumz.

Healthy self made smoothie. 

Next time can try out more receipes.

 Open the package and can eat liao.

Also realised 7-11 is selling many interesting stuff... Like one piece chicken meat, open up and can eat liao kind....

And all sorts of prepacked food. 

Not bad. 

Can sneak in for a quick low calorie meal if need be. 

Though so 速食, really dont know healthy or not.

Finally collected the free fitness tracker from hpb. Lol

Initially tot can track calories burnt... But actually cannot. 

Also good lor. Can track number of steps walked, heart rate, oxygen level, and also mins of moderate to vigorous physical activity. 

Then got points to earn to redeem vouchers.

Grave sweeping today!

Well, the rest went grave sweeping while i stayed behind to accompany mum. 

Ha. 

Then back home in the evening to watch star awards. 

In order to catch the show in peace, i even cancel the weekly cleaning session by the part time cleaner.

Not bad. Managed to watch it in some peace.

The boys' 1st time visit to the cinema!!!! 

Other than those at the USS, they have never been to a proper cinema before! 

 

Ok, not bad, they enjoyed! Was still quite worried abt this raythorous being scared of the darkness and loudness... But he ok leh.. Haha

Watched the Mario brothers. Quite aptly cuz they have been playing the game on the nintendo switch. So when i saw that this movie is coming, i quickly told hubb that i wanna bring them to watch liao. 

And saw trailers of transformers and the little mermaid coming soon too! 

So coincidental that i just read the little mermaid book to them. 

Lol! 

And...... When did movie tickets became so exp huh????? 1 ticket $15.50????!

Last time only $8.50 or $9.50???

4 of us for 1 movie $60 bucks liao.... 

And with the popcorns, hotdogs and what's not.... Easily $100 gone. 

Geeeez. 

Think go library better la.

 Did a kaypoh ji thing ytd! 

Yea, i reported on this truck that was parked at the roundabout and in the wrong direction, blocking the way, and causing hassle to others who want to use the roundabout.

It was raining and the roundabout was one of the place for sheltered drop off and this kuku truck was parked there. 

Other drivers had to enter the roundabout and reverse out. Imagine it was me driving and i honestly do not know how to reverse out of a roundabout! Can stuck there liao!! 

So inconsiderate right! 

So i immediately took pics and reported. 

But then again........ I only saw the 2nd part. How abt the 1st part? 

Maybe that driver also wanted to send someone off? Maybe he had to bring his child to the childcare leh? Or maybe he had to accompany his elderly mother home leh?

So no choice but to park there for awhile hoping no one horns and he can get away unscathed?

And prior to dinner, yy intro us to this diy photography session.

Basically there r rooms to choose from and u will be led into the chosen room. Door closed, and u can start posing and taking pics on ur own! There's a pre set-up dslr cam in the room and the remote control wb given to u. So just pose and click, pose and click. Duration abt 10mins.

Lol, quite fun!!

Reminded us of our professional outdoor shoot almost 10yrs ago!

Yea, time to plan another soon!

Always been wanting to make library visiting a part of our routine.... But never did.. 

Then last wed, raythorous's school brought them to the library, and from then, this raythorous has been super enthu in jioing us to the library.

Sat night we went, but alas, closed liao! 

So sunday we went again. 

And then, chanced upon this free 3d pen workshop and we gave it a try. Lol

 Not bad leh, quite therapeutic!

So u have to insert a special kind of material into the pens, then the pens will melt the material and u can use the material to color. The material will then solidify to form a solid picture. 

Spent almost an hour here. 

And the end products. Tada! 

Yea, quite fun, free somemore. Got other workshops also. Next time can join again. 

Very fruitful wkends these days.
