Last day of the mth!

Yes, July has been a much more peaceful mth as compared to the prior few mths.

Phew.

Ok, jiayou for the remaining mths!

Happy that Aug and Sep will still be wfh for me. 

Yay! 

ohhohhohoo, took leave ytd to go pak-tor with hubb. 

yes, nowadays very difficult to pak-tor liao, except during lunch time. LOL. 

went breakfast at this restaurant in mandarin galleria.

woooohooo.. shiokk to just chill the morning away. LOL

yeah, our super heavy breakfast. yes, very yummy also... yummx. 

after that went shopped around for awhile before going for massage. 

after massage was further shopping before lunching at this tsui wah restaurant. 

yah, the very famous tsui wah restaurant from HK. 

the food is not bad, but quite small portion. 

after that was back to west for somemore shopping, before picking the boys up. 

yeaaa. fruitful day again! 

managed to buy so many things. 

very happy =)

and we did a good deed also. 

while we were at tsui wah, saw this old uncle hanging around near the restaurant. as we were seated at level 2, we could clearly observe him at level 1. so apparently he was trying to sell bottled plain water, but no one was buying from him. so he was just walking around with one bottle in his hand and trying v hard to approach pple. at times, he would just lie down on the bench (after clearing the rainwater from the bench with his bare hands) and rest, then approach pple again. on-off got pple give him some money la. but generally, he was being ignored. 

so hubb and i decided to get him some food though i also worry if we got rejected, it's gonna be damn paisay. anyways, we bought a sandwich and a cup of coffee. while approaching him, he can see us coming and kept looking at the bags on our hand. when we passed him the food, know what he said?

ive been asking hubb, what if he actually stays in a landed and got damn lots of $$ and doing this just to spare time? or just to earn extra money? anyway, so old liao, also nothing to do right??

but, 要帮就不要想这么多....

 Haha, sat had been a fruitful day. 

Went popular walk walk, and managed to buy this wireless earbuds. 

Yes, need them for jogging on a threadmill. Jogging without some fast music is just unbearable!!

And having wired earphones is not good enough. In addition to handicapping the performance, it also risks dragging the phone and causing the phone to drop. Yes, my phone got dropped a few times cuz of using wired earphones. So, wireless ear buds have always been on my wish list. 

But the wireless buds are so damn bloody expensive that I didn't bear to buy one. The best I had was a Bluetooth earphone that needs not connect to the phone, but still have a wire connecting both sides of the ear. Not expensive and worked well for me, until it gave way somehow.. Haii..

So, been wanting to buy back something similar. And again saw all the v expensive ear buds until I saw this..... 

Woah, believe it or not! Original price $129 and now selling at $39.90 worrr. With 1yr warranty somemore! Hahahhaa. Very happy!

Yayy, now can fly at the threadmill liao!!

And then, also chanced upon this Playmade brand bbt. Colleagues have been telling me how nice this brand is and finally let me chanced upon their outlet at westgate. 

Yes, really quite nice. Tried the chrysanthemum milk tea. Refreshing, though not much of the milky taste. Taste just like drinking chrysanthemum tea... But the pearls v soft and chewy. Nicee.

And the whole objective of going out that day was to get a haircut for the boys. 

Yay, for the past mths, I have been cutting for them myself. Until now, totally out of shape liao. So, gotta seek professional help to get the basic shape back first. 

Who knows, the usual $10 bucks salon we go to was closed. So tot no chance to cut liao, who knows, when we were about to leave the mall, we came across another $10 bucks salon! 

Whee! 

Last min still managed to get their hair cut and get the main objective done! 

Haha 

So, fruitful day right. Did so many things!

So rws has retrenchment.... 

More real than ever, cuz a friend is working in there and she has described how scary and unexpected it was. 

Eek. 

Imagine u received a call in the morning, just to let u know that u r out of the game and pls come back and collect ur barangs. 

Eeeeeeek.

And then was texting my gym membership consultant to KB her on my gym membership... 

And then she informed me that she has already left the gym due to retrenchment.

Uh huh. 

Times are really bad.... 

And its for real!

We really got to fight Covid19 to save ourselves.

Happy Problem

woah. 

amazing. 

i only took 6.5days leave thus far. 

what have i been doing all these while mann?! so hardworking?!!! 

No la. Is cuz I was super prudent in taking leaves. Ya.. Saving for the rainy days, scare got things cropped up and need to take emergency leaves.. U know la... Always got shit happening..

And also all thanks to COVID19 that thwarted all travelling plans. and also no point taking leaves during the CB when there was also nothing to do except to stay at home right?

So now happy problem liao. got to clear 20days of leave in the remaining 5mths. 

whoot!

Happily planning my leaves. 

at least now can go out jalan abit, do facial, do hair treatment, go high tea, go steamboat, enjoy some tai-tai moments.

and really, dont have to plan too much in life. so far, i have never celebrated their bday in school. last yr, rayous asked me if i can celebrate for him in school. but that time, there was no preparation at all, so i told him, i will celeb for him in school next yr. yup, so this yr, i was all ready to take the day off, buy a big cake and get some souvenirs for him to celeb in school. but who knows, came this COVID19 which disrupted everything. 

oh well. 

no big deal really. so long all of us remain safe and sound.

PollinG DaY 2020

Ahaha. Polling day! 

So exciting! 

Hubb and I have bought tidbits in preparation of staying up tonight to get the 1st hand election results.

Hopefully I don't fall asleep while accompanying the boys to sleep later. 

Lol.

Took this holiday to go temple pray pray. But the temple still not opened yet, so just pray outside. Also good. 

Then chanced upon this super nice Taiwan instant noodle at this small herbal tea/bbt shop across the street. Yes, super nice with real kong bak inside (but super high calories and salt and preservative too I guess)!

Been looking for it for the longest time, but apparently not selling in sg, at least not in the typical supermarkets. 没想到竟然让我误打误撞碰到。last 2 packets left, so quickly bought. Cooked le show u all again! 

After that went to visit mum n dad. And found this ice cream in their fridge! 

Wah not bad. The folks also vogue enough to buy these very-in milk tea ice cream. Lol

Been wanting to try all this while but no chance. Again, 踏破铁鞋无觅处，得来全不费功夫！but the verdict... Urm.. So so nia. Kekeke

Yup. Now counting down for election to 开票liao.

Had so much fun playing this faceapp.. So entertaining!

And myself... Omg... Really looks like my brother!!! 

OK to be fair, this app abit unfair. Male transform to female much nicer than female transform to male. 

Transform to female they go smoothen the face, put more color, bigger the eyes. But transform to male, the skin becomes rougher, more wrinkled and darker. 

Hoho. 

Nonetheless, had much fun 'transforming' the different pple.

Took leave on Friday to bring the folks out for yum cha. 

Yup, long time since we dined out. Lol

At this 老字号 red star restaurant tucked away on the 7th floor of a hdb block in chin swee road. Really one old restaurant and still having that kind of 'push trolley' dim sum. Very Hongkong style. Still a number of LKK staff.. But also many changed to young ah tiongs liao. 

But as usual, the service still quite bad. Staff not v responsive, trolleys take a long time to come. Haha. 

The food is OK la. And very nostalgic and HK-feel, so I don't mind dining there despite the not so good service. And weekends are damn lonnng q (at least in the past la. Now Covid19 don't how how). Lucky we went on weekday, so still OK. And perhaps amid this covid19, many pple still do not want to go out ba. 

After that went tiong bahru plaza to settle banking stuff... Before 'high tea' time at yakun.

Among the so many so many these kind of cafe outlets, my fave is still yakun. Serves the best tea and best toast, in my opinion. Yummz. 

After that the folks went home while I went for my facial session. Whoot! 

So scare they will close shop (as in, really close shop for good) amid the crisis, I still got package with them leh!  Lucky they still operating. Lol. 

After that back to westgate and did some quick shopping b4 meeting hubb and the boys for dinner. 

Had Tim ho wan. Ahhh dim sum again! 

But the tim ho wan steam chicken rice is really damn shioook. Miss it!

And to be fair, tim ho wan is really quite nice, though expensive also. But the service at westgate also soso only. 

After that was ice cream time at haggen daz.

Fruitful day le ba. 

Damn shiok to take leave and accomplish so many things.
