day 5 of our trip was still in macau.
started off with the famous portuguese egg tarts!! yummy!
if you have been to macau, u will know the most famous bakery brand there will be koi kee. and there's really a reason behind it. the 2 bakery shops (koi kee vs another brand) were there side by side (in venetian), and we tried the tarts from both shops. and i tell u, koi kee's tarts really won big time. much tastier than the other brand.
and as usual, at macau, the landmark and must-visit place - st paul's church
if i may just bring u down the memory lane.... to see how many times we have visited macau..
2010....omg, how young
2011......
and 2013... hahaha
ok, back to 2016.
as usual, the whole area was superrrr packed w pple
it is here that u will see how famous the koi kee brand is. almost 1 shop in every 5 steps and all are equally crowded. then u will see pple carrying all the yellow bags of goodies from this brand. actually this brand also can be found in singapore liao, at chinatown. but they dont sell the egg tarts here. boohoo.
in the end we also bought alot of the goodies from this brand. ahhh. whyyyy?? whyyyy carry all the way from macau when it's all available in SG??? really horr...
very diffcult to navigate the place w rayous and w soooooo many pple all around. somehow, the alley that sells my fav 'yong-tau-foo' alike food and bbt and stuff seemed to have disappeared. sadddz.
then back to our hotel..
rested before we came out for dinner again. ha
the very very nice backdrop...
just like the real venice...
yep. and the next day will be back to HK and back home liao.
stay tuned.
