my tooth still hurts... boo hooo hooooo... constant naggy pain... :(

last weekend went JB city sq with hubb. tried out the newly opened seoul garden. total bill with 2drinks was abt rm75 = sgd33= sgd17 per pax for wkend lunch. compare to seoul garden in sg - $21.99++ for wkend lunch. cheap cheap :)

somehow, the food also tasted better than the seoul in sg.

the last time we went jb, we came back by hired private car. this time round, we tried coming back by train. the train tix cost only rm3 per pax. free seating. whole journey + waiting time is about an hour.

not too bad an experience. think more convenient than taking bus.

last sunday also went for the annual grave-sweeping. super hot day. year after year.. time flies!

more or less ready for the macau trip this friday.

- ferry tix for a one-day travel to HK - checked

- itinerary- checked

now juz left the currency xchange part.

hopefully there'll be a chance to go over to zhuhai as well. heard it's a shopping paradise, even better than BKK!

hopefully by then, my toothache will go away.

im down with a terrible toothache.

started yesterday and i went to the dentist tis morning whom told me that a root canal is recommended. alternatively, i can go for an extraction but it's not advisable because tat tooth is a pre-moloar. 'pre-molar' .... reminds me of the time in pri school where we were made to brush our teeth during recess time with a dentist demostrating on how to brush them correctly. then there'll always be kids playing with saliva, blood due to shaky tooth pending to be dropped.... urghhh!

the whole root canal treatment will cost abt $350. win liao lor.

1st time i kenna such thing. really painful. and tt dentist was telling me that there's a wisdom tooth right at the back but it's at a comfortable angle, so no pain at the mmt. gosh.. i felt like im carrying a time-bomb. who knows when it will shift and cause pain? i've heard how terrible it is to have wisdom tooth that hurts.

haiiii..... hair loss..... tooth problem.... constant tiredness....... age is really catching up...

Yeah am going macau for a short trip juz bfore starting work at the new place. Will be leaving on nxt fri nite and back on the following tues morning.

Kind of a last min decision. Luckily still can come up with something. Book this week, fly nxt wk. Keke.

Airfare abt 300 per pax. Flying by jetstar and back by tiger. Have not book hotel yet but estimated to be about 200 per pax. So total abt 500. Bit ex for a short trip eh.

But am still glad to be able to go away, even if it's just a while.

And am blogging from colleague's iphone now. Cool. Mayb i shld get one myself too :)

tell me, is this amount of hair loss for EACH shampooing normal and acceptable?????

and that has not account for the hair loss due to combing of hair which is about 6times a day, tying and removing of band which is also about 6times a day, stroking of hair which is about 8times a day (kind of random, cant really calculate ...) and miscellaneous dropping due to wadever reasons!!!!

gosh.. hubb says it's normal to lost about 50 strands of hair per day.. but given the above scenarios, im definitely lossing more hair than that per day.

initially i tot that was due to my hair being too long. but now that i've cut it slightly shorter, the problem persists!

i'm really worried. my hair is really thinning and cannot cover my head. i see HOLES.

and the drain leaves me super hurt after each shampooing.

i know xmas is stil a long way from now.

but.....

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A FULLER HEAD !!!

out with colleagues to kbox @ lucky chinatown last thurs. singing experience wasnt that pleasant cux one of the mike connections sux and it's sooooo difficult to navigate the menu. apparently, it's not the same kind of menu as in the past and it's soo difficult to choose and select songs.

nonetheless, the singing put aside, we had a great time!

v soon i'll be leaving them for another place. i hope i wont cry on my last day.. oppsss.. so embarrassing!!!

superiors will be giving me and eleanor a lunch treat tmr for our farewell. kind of a pleasant surprise as as far as i know, it's not a practice for mgmt to treat colleagues who r leaving. keke ~ feel priviledged xia.... lol ~

GooD FriDaY

was away to JB for a one-nite stay during the long good friday wkend with hubb and his parents. we left on friday afternn and crossing the custom was a nitemare with sooooooooooooo many people! it was super crowded, chaotic, hot and sqzy. seriously, cant anyone do anything abt the situation?? no one knows where the q starts and where the q will lead to. it's juz 乱!

anyway, after much thick-skin in jumping q and acting blurr, we managed to reach JB. stayed at zon regency hotel, the same one tt we stayed during my bday last year.

the hotel's abt rm10 taxi ride from jb custom. it's a good hotel to stay in as it's within a shopping mall itself and there'r many faciities inside. and there are many eateries within walking distance. v convenient.

at nite was dinner at the nearby  煮炒 stall and after tt was chilling out at the lounge juz below the hotel rooms..... got live performance.

we hired a car to bring us back from jb customs all the way to hubb's place at jurong. sgd40. quite worth it and needless to say, comfortable and hassle free! dont have to wait, to board and alight, to q. 爽! money can really do wonders!

~1st time in a MPV. i LOVEEEEE MPVs!!!! sense of superiority~

yepp. not  a bad trip at all. juz go away for awhile and rest and relac. no tour grp, no itin, nothing. juz own time own target. :)

went to this restuarant at cathay cineplex (the one nxt to plaza sing) last sunday. it's at level four or five.. the name is Aston, or something like that. it serves western food and highly recommended by hubb.

super long q but considering there's only 2 of us, it shld be quite fast to be able to get a seat. and so we q.

the concept is somewhat like botak jones whereby u choose a main and u can decide on 2 sides. the price is slightly steeper than at jones, but tt shld be the case, since jones are located at coffeeshops while this is located in a shopping mall.

but as compared to many other restuarants serving western food, i will say this is cheap and real good. the price is low (take note, it's not reasonable, it' LOW) and the food is of a large portion and delicious!

~hubb's prime cut for only $17.90! elsewhere will easily be >$25. and it's good. no joke. esp the potatoe salad. and hubb went for a well done (yes, do not be surprise tt there are pple who go for well done when it comes to steak. keke) and i expected it to be hard rock. but no, it was still tender and soft despite being well done. impressive! ~

~my pepper fish for only $7.90!! $7.90!! i think mac meal cost more than that if u go for an upsize and an additional pie.. ~

total cost is below $30. for a steak and fish fillet and 2 drinks... where to find?? pls do go there and try out.

main course and sides are of wide varieties too.. i will go for my salmon nxt time round cuz the salmon were all sold out when we went last sun.

but do expect to wait awhile for the food to be served and the ambience is not tt hi-class hi-class kind de. and of cuz, if ur in big grps, then do expect to have to q for a place. :)
