Tough nights these days.
Didi's sleeping pattern really is 时好时坏。
There were times when he slept thru.... but there were also times when he was a complete terror at night..
The best scenario will be of cuz, to sleep thru without waking up.
2nd best scenario will be that he fidgets here n there but can go back to sleep on his own.
3rd best will be that he cries out a little, but can go back to sleep with a little help ie, patting
4th best will be that he wakes up, but goes back to sleep after we moved him out of the cot and into the rocking chair.
5th best, or rather, bad is when we have to make milk for him. Still not so bad if he goes back to sleep after drinking the milk.
Worse is when he doesn't go back to sleep even after drinking the milk.
Worst is when he cries and vomits after drinking the milk. And after all the din, he still doesn't want to sleep!!!!!!!
That was what happened just now.
OMG.
Really don't know what he wants xia.
Obviously not hungry. Asked him what he wants, he kept pointing at the door and say 'there'. Opened the door and he led us to the kitchen where the milk powder is placed. Told him no more milk as he had just drank. He kind of accepted it and walked back to the room and laid on the mattress. Put him back in cot and he starting crying again. No choice, put him on the floor mattress again. After a while, he wanted to cry again. Finally, put him on the rocking chair which he finally fell back to sleep.
Wah. Simidaiji xia.....???
My best bet is that he's teething. That probably explains the crankiness. How to help him to help ourselves hurrrr?
Cannot remember when rayous finally learnt to sleep thru consistently. But I remembered rayous wasn't easy also. He was also one boy who doesn't want to sleep in the cot. So we let him sleep on the bed w us. But we cannot do the same for Didi. Cuz if he sleeps in the middle w rayous, scare rayous will kick or sleep on him. If he sleeps at the side, scare he will fall off the bed. So.. for didi, I guess it will take longer for him to slp thru on his cot...

Yeah. All these are just part and parcel and it will not last forever. Embrace while it last yeah.
And.. it doesn't help when MIL is requesting us not to return home too late to fetch the boy(s). Apparently, she has difficulty handling the 2 boys at night.
Understandable, cuz this rayous can really be a handful and this didi also 不是省油的灯。this rayous is always running about and easy for him to knock onto didi. So the solution is to hold on to didi. However, this didi doesn't want to be held onto and always wants to walk/run in the house too. So, can be quite headache when both of them starts running in the hse cuz u just won't know when they will just knock onto each other...
And rayous always wanna hit/kicks the didi when the didi agitates him unknowingly. And when he feels indignant when he got scolded, he breaks down... ahhhhh...
Yes. I know the difficulty Mil is facing. But if everyday rush home after work, also v siann leh. But if don't rush home after work, also have to worry if Mil can cope...

Anyway, mai complain liao la. In the first place, if there is no Mil, it should have been worse already.
看着办吧。
Just hope the 2 boys can guai guai, love each other, and create less trouble!!!.
Again, it's all a passing phase.
