so, we always will blind pick our recipient prior to the xchange, so u know who u r buying for. and if u notice, this yr, we happened to buy for the person who bought for us. so.. it's really literally 'exchange'! so coincidental huh.

yeah, year-end! MIL's bday in late nov and hubb and mum's bday are in early/mid dec. 

so hubb's bday... gave him his present early in the morning. woohoo!

a coach belt! it's one of the latest design, w a T-rex at the buckle. well, he's been saying he wants it, so i secretly bought it to surprise him! so sweeeet of me =) 

and then we went celebrate at imm swensens. i think we've been celebrating his bday at swensens for quite a few times liao. they give free ice-cream for the bday boy/gal. so y not?

and then back home to cut cake.

celebrated for her at yunnan garden restaurant at fusionopolis. 

and hubb took this opportunity to buy her a gold bracelet and a black beads bracelet, to thank her for helping us so much. yeah, she really really did help us alot alot. really really appreciate her..

celebration was at balestier boon tiong kee. yeah, boon tiong kee doesnt just serve chicken rice. they serve other food as well!

the 2 little ones... just about 2 weeks apart. kekkeke. i think they do look alike. hahaaha.

so, to commemorate hubb's MR, we had a staycation at MBS on 19nov!

our view from the room. nice.

always good to go back to MBS. the service are always so good.

too bad raythorous couldnt come along. mama promises to bring you along when u r older ok!!

the pool.. as usual... super packed w pple..... the crowd is really worse than at a public pool..

breakfast at the poolside. shiook! haha

and on the 1st evening, sis and family came along. then we ordered honestbee. who knows, there was a hiccup in the delivery and somehow, the food were not delivered after we waited for a good one hour. 

in the end we drove out and ate at this restaurant only at 11pm! 

then halfway thru the meal, miraculously, there was a sms from honestbee saying that the food will be arriving in 5mins. really wtf? 

in the end, i shoot an nasty email complaining about the whole episode but only managed to get a $10 coupon as compensation. 

duh. 

ok, anyway, next staycation wb end of this month when parents-in-law are off travelling. then we staycation shun bian celebrate xmas.

my lens torn!! 

remb how i used to have a pair of lens that lasted 9yrs? subsequently i had them changed only last yr, and it torn after only a yr. torn after 1yr is still acceptable, cuz i was already told that such lenses can only last for 1yr. the salesperson herself (from the same shop that sold me the '9yrs lens') told me that the lenses are not as durable as they used to be liao. 

so, i had them changed again recently in july, and now..... one side is torn again!! 

in less than 5months!!

wah lao eh. $200 bucks ok!

going to ask for an exchange. 

dont know can or not..

i bet they are going to say im the one who damaged it and cannot be exchanged. 

dont care. 

im just going to throw a scene!! 

ahhh!! 

anyway, also made a pair of designer specs when i did the lenses in july. 

had always wanted to have a pair of designer specs but never materialise cuz, even though i kept saying i want to wear specs to work, but most of the time, i will still wear lenses. 

so im very scared that it will become a white elephant. 

but now, with mad rush everyday and having to see to 2 kids, saving the time and trouble to wash the lens, is a good thing. 

and not to mention that my eyes are forever sleepy, and will be uncomfortable to wear lenses (again, maybe due to the lenses not as good as in the past. i had no comfort issue with my pair of '9yrs lens'!! they were super comfoftable!!) so, finally invested in a pair of designer specs and yep, i have been regularly wearing it to work, at least 1 day per 5 working days.

another reason why i dont like to wear specs to work was becuz, based on my past experiences, if i wear specs and focus for too long, i will have this 'tightness' around the ear and neck and it will give me headache and i will become superrrrr uncomfortable. 

so i dont dare to wear specs to work.

but so far so good w this specs. 

ok, anyway, gotta battle w the spectacle shop liao. 

hopefully can exchange the pair of lenses...

lucky i was originally alrady on leave, else have to last min take MC again. at least now, i just need to 'exchange' the leaves w MCs and only superior (and not the whole team) will know. ha. 

went see doc ytd and after hearing all my (recurring) problems, he asked 2 questions - enough sleep? taking any supplements or vitamins? 

uhhhhh

nope, to both. 

and that probably explained why im always falling sick. 

haiiii. 

yes, i seriously need to start on some vitamins. actually i should have continued taking the ante-natal vitamins, but i stopped after 1 or 2 months post birth. i think i also stopped about the same time during 1st pregnancy, or maybe slightly longer. but im definitely weaker now than after 1st pregnancy. 

maybe like what mum said, 生了两个(体质)不一样.

and of cuz, the demands of 1 kid vs 2 kids are also different.

so... i really dont know how to help myself.

getting enough sleep is quite unlikely at least for the next 6mths. i have been drinking lotsa water, so that's not a problem. diet, i think im ok also, just that probably i should/must cut down on the chilli intake.  and.. excersie!! 

yeah, lack of exercise and sweating.... but weekdays really no time to exercise la. once off work must quickly go home eat dinner and pump liao, else everything will end late and everyone gotta sleep late again (and worsen the problem of not having enough sleep!)

yes, pumping is a blocking stone. and it always will be. will blog about that later on. 

back to exercising. maybe weekends can bring the boys out to park and sweat it out?? walk walk? cycle? haiii. 

i also dont know la. 

just very sian that will fall sick every now and then. 

and now, cant even smell anything. nose block, ears block, sore throat... 

even the white coffee, i also cannot smell liao. 

yah.. i know.. shouldnt be drinking coffee now.. but.. it's already bad enough.. just let me have some comfort food ok...!

oh, and ytd went buy the multivitamins liao. will start on it once i recovered. hopefully can help...

and i sort of asked the doc about the possibility that the maid is a virus carrier but she's unaffected, but will spread to the rest. he said unlikely that she has the virus, but shows no symptoms wor. 

haii.

Hubb's MR PaRaDe

ok, so hubb has officially MR! attended his MR parade on saturday 18nov.

super hot day la. and according to his marching-in position, we were supposed to sit right at the edge corner in order to catch the best view of him. and that location happened to receive the most sunlight la. lucky got umbrella to shield shield abit. 

rayous was a little cranky from wanting to sleep. lucky still managed to manage him. sweat. 

and here they are!

and.. my man! 

finally MR liao! his unit is considered active, calling him back for ICT every year, and always during important periods. like we cannot go on too long a honeymoon becuz he had to go back for ICT, and after rayous's full month, he also had to go back for ICT and im left taking care of rayous alone... etc etc..

he could have defer la, but if defer, he will likely join another grp of pple which he doesnt want. duh.

 okok, must support NS ok! like what my colleague always say 'we r the reason y u can sleep soundly at night' (to stop us from complaining y he always had to go back for ICT).

LOL

but still, each time he goes, it's really quite disruptive. like this time, i had to take leave to take care of rayous and raythorous had to be left at MIL's place. yay, so, good that it's all coming to an end.

yay, and the poor boy. slept in such hot weather. i must give it to him. so hot so noisy also can sleep. haha. but also good, else he will just continue to be cranky. ha. 

i do know most of his army friends. so also kind of 看着大家成长. from 21st bday, to wedding, to baby shower, and now... all 老兵 liao. hahaha

so, hopefully the whole lot of them wont have to meet in camp again. cuz when they do, it will mean something really big happened liao.
