My 2 little boys are unwell again...

Started vomiting after dinner last night. Then vomited a few more times throughout the night.

Stunned.

Like suddenly and out of nowhere one lor. 

Poor boys.

Better today,  but still vomiting abit .and rayous had fever just now.

Stresssss 

Lucky it's the weekend. Else probably gotta take urgent leaves and crisis again....

Confirmed they got it from hubb whom just recovered from don't know the stomach flu or food poisoning. 

Shld be stomach flu, since stomach flu is contagious and food poisoning is not.

Hopefully they are well enough for school tmr.

On one hand, hope they can 快点长大。on the other hand, 又怕他们太快长大。

Haha.

What dilemma.

Anyway, the 2 boys are getting chummier to each other.

Xmas StaYcaTioN @ HoTeL ForT CanninG

xmas celebration this year (or rather last yr) was at fort canning hotel =)

last yr's (or rather, last last yr's) xmas staycation was at studio m hotel, and it was quite a nightmare (refer to post for details).

haha, this yr much better liao, with a much grown-up didi. LOL 

ordered room service first. still remb i was really quite down the whole period leading up to xmas... sigh.. lucky felt much better by xmas eve. 

and then proceeded to the xmas dinner. woot! 

santa claus! 

and a very thin one. hahahaha. they really should have find someone plumper and older to be the santa claus la

the dinner wasnt cheap at all, but the fare really so-so only. quite disappointing considering the amt we paid. but then again, it was xmas eve la. sure expensive..

the little boy.. savouring the cupcake...

and the next morning... breakfast! 

and meeting w the santa again... this time round, a speckie santa! diaoooo 

some last-min nua-ing time before having to check out 

yep, so that's our 2d1n staycation. not too bad. the room is v nice and spacious. 

and back home... presents this year!!

and the exchange with the bnf group. at beauty in the pot at centrepoint. honestly, this is one of the best best steamboat that i have ever eaten. superrr yummmmyy. maybe even better than the hai xian lao, which i've been raving about...

for our exchange this yr, we get to write down our wish list..... so, everyone were quite happy w their gifts.... except for xh i guess, where her wish was being 'mis-interpreted'. LOL

RayThoRous's 2nd & 3rd DaY oF ScHooL

the 2nd day was the best among the 3days that i sat in w him. 

looking from outside the classroom....

playing w balls..... at least i could stay away for awhile before he starts looking for me again...

sitting w the teacher n friends, rather than clinging on to me..

and eating banana! LOL

and feeding himself.. woot! 

the 2nd day was really the best performance day. cried lesser and the frequency of me staying away was longer before he started to look for me again. 

and this time round, i was super smart liao. i quickly hide b4 rayous came out of his class, so that he wont see me and wants to cling on to me. though during meal time, he still 'caught' me, i quickly asked the teacher to close the door, so he did not see me after that, and went back to his class. haha.

ok, day 3 was bad performance again. 

initially was ok.....

but after that he was cranky most of the time again.... i think he was tired, cuz he literally fell asleep on me!!

and i only woke him up at lunch time. haha.

ok, so for the 1st 3 days, i can only say, raythorous performed worse off than what i had expected. tot he would be quite chill and easy about the whole thing, who knows...... he probably was the crybaby of the class. really!

yeah. so day 4, i no longer can go w him to school liao. and cuz for the 1st 5days, the hours are shortened to 9-12pm (instead of 7am to 7pm), we could not send him to school. so, MIL was tasked to bring him there at 9am. as expected, cried lor. and when i enquired w the teacher, she said he was crying almost throughout the whole period. 

oh no... 

and he also fell asleep in class, and did not want to eat his lunch. 

same goes for day5.... 

then day 6, we sent him to school at around 8ish. we put rayous in school 1st, before putting him, cuz scare both will cry together. yeah, so he cried, and i went off. after that, i went back and peeped, and saw rayous was consoling him. 

LOL 

and when rayous tried to walk away, he started crying again. 

haaaaaa

yeah, anyway, these few days, the teacher said there were improvements already. less crying and he was willing to eat already. 

yep. 

so.... just hope he can adapt soon and learn to accept school. 

for one thing, we have started to let him feed himself since he started school.

good! 

for a start, we will just bring him back at 12noon. slowly then extend the hours.... shall see how it goes first.

RayThoRous's 1st Day oF SchooL

hohohohoho, my didi's 1st day of school on 2jan! 

like during rayous's time, the first 5 days will be half session (instead of full session) and i can be with him for the first 3 days. 

how time flies. when rayous 1st started school, i was still preggie with raythorous. now raythorous also going to school liao. haha.

and of course, the kor kor is the old bird now, while didi is the freshie. LOL

and alas, didi performed worse off than i had expected him to be. honestly, i feel that didi is a more zai and steady child than rayous, when rayous was at the same age. so, i had expected him to be quite chill and relax and should have no issue in going to school. 

who knows, it was quite a nightmare on day 1. 

even before we entered the school, he already vomitted a few times from crying. then inside the school, he continued to cry a couple of times, despite i was there. 

hard to get him to be involved in the activities too..

and when everybody were bz with the toys, he was bz with the box that contained the toys. alamakk...

finally lunch time! eating banana..

and feeding himself. honestly, we have never really tried letting him feed himself, cuz the messiness is just too much to bear. so good, let him start in school... 

and it definitely did not help that the elder brother is in the same school. there were a couple of times when rayous came out of his class and saw me. then he wanted to follow me, and he started crying when being 'forced' to go back to his own class. aaahhh.. so poor thing la... 

and during lunch time, he insisted to eat w me in raythorous's classroom. the teacher allowed him to do so, and so, the 2 of them lunched together. LOL

session ended for raythorous after lunch. MIL was there to help pick him up, but this raythorous refused to follow MIL and clinged onto me. worse, this rayous, also refused to go back to his class and also clinged onto me. so, i was literally sitting on the floor with both boys hugging me and refused to let go. 

super OMG lor. 

i was contemplating if i should just bring both boys home, but, that would mean no more me-time liao!! yes, i could have taken half day leave only, since raythorous's session was from 9 to 12pm only. but i took the full day leave to have 2nd half of the day to have some me-time. so, if i bring rayous out of school, means i will have to look after him and no more me-time liao... grr.. 

lucky in the end, rayous agreed to go back to his class, after we passed him his bao-bao. 

phew! 

and MIL took raythorous home. and i continued with my me-time!! did some really great shopping at westgate. finally had the time to do the shopping and bought sooo many clothes lor! happpyyyyy!!! 

ok, back to raythorous. ya, so it was quite disappointing that he did not perform as well as i had expected. i think he was too tired and probably hungry, cuz he vomitted his breakfast, and lunch was only served at 11.30am. 

in fact, among all the children in the class (6 of them), i think raythorous was really the cry baby of the class. but apparently, he's the 2nd youngest among them, despite him being an april baby. ha. 

and i also think he performed worse off than when rayous had his 1st day in school. but cannot compare la, cuz rayous's 1st 3 days were only 1.5hours, but raythorous's 1st 3 days were 3hrs. that's double the time ok! 

will blog about day 2 and day 3 later on. generally, he was much much better on day2. but on day3, he was back to cranky again. 

now, im just super worried about monday, when i cannot be w him anymore. 

sure cry and wail like mad shit. 

ok.... no choice.... let it be bah. 

lucky MIL will be bringing him to school on mon and tues, not me. but on wed, it will officially be the normal timing which is 7 to 7pm liao. so, technically, we can bring both boys to school at the same time liao. 

uh-oh.
