the actual day morning! so much preparation and planning and money spent just for this day!! excited!
my make-up artist. not the same one as my photoshoot artist. I was told he's better than my photoshoot artist, but on hindsight, I preferred the make-up and hairdos for my photoshoot to my actual day.
i thought the eyes were kind of overdone... making them too dark and small..

i didnt know the gown was actually that transparent..

the moment. 'the moment' cuz apparently, it's a MUST moment for all brides. in all wedding videos we watched so far, sure have this moment one, where the parents will cover the veil for their daughters. hahahaa. and it's really this moment that i felt like one super star lah. the photographer, videographers all standing by to capture this moment... and all the other audiences crowding behind them to watch.. haha.

the 闯門 part.. as usual... the 酸甜苦辣 first....
then they were supposed to retrieve the ping pong balls bearing the correct alphabet/shape from a tray of flour and from a pail of ice water, without using hands.
lastly, they had to burst the balloons and find the correct note which bears my name, again, without using hands..
tada! relatively simple games lahh

quite abit of time was spent at our new flat actually, which we din expect. thought only to on the light, bed-rolling, i change to qua and that's all. but in the end, took many photos and videos here, as instructed by the photographer and videographers.

the roasted pig!
roasted pig is of a great significance in a cantonese wedding, so, we emphasized a great deal to the shop that we want a big size pig. despite the emphasis, we were still worried that the pig may turn out to be smallish.
on the actual day morning, hubb called and told me that there was one good news and one bad news. the good news was that, the pig was really very big. the bad news was that, the car boot is not big enough to keep and transport the pig!!! diaooo.. in the end, lucky my mum-in-law knows of a neigbour who drives a van and engaged their help to transport the pig! heng ahh!

yup, so that's about all for the morning session. quite fun actually. overall things were considered smooth bah, except for some small hiccups here and there. all thanks to everyone's help and support!
