now, the one on the right is our flat. the one on the left is, of cuz, my neighbour's flat.

and opposite us, are another 2 neighbours.

so, if you see the common thing in us. lol.

I think it's quite funny, how when u exited from the lift and turn right, u will see 4 units all with red cloth hanging.

hahahahaa. huat ahhh!

yay! our hens' night! 'ours' cuz ... believe it or not... myself, yy and yan got married one in each month! myself in Aug, yy in Sept, and yan in Oct! hahahahah. so sadly, we werent able to attend each others' wedding. and poor glo and jo... who literally kenna bombed every month! lol! 

glad that our hens' night did take place afterall! we had much discussion but no concrete conclusion. lucky in the end, we still made it! 

brunch at regent hotel, where we had booked a night stay 

i thought the cooked food selection was quite limited. same goes for the sashimies.

the 3 brides to be.. hohoho

and then back in the hotel room. really had to thank glo and jo for their efforts in decorating the room. 

and then.. we started to chu patterns.. hahhaha

and then comes the hi-light of the night! we are going to party....... in our pyjamas!!! yeah, this is crazy!! 

ok, yy totally won with her 包租婆 hairstyle.. 

ok, actually the very original idea was for us to dress like disney princesses. but that did not happen, as we had problem looking for the outfits. there were many other ideas too like school uniforms etc... and in the end, we settled for pyjamas. alright, all except jo, who was strongly against the idea of wearing pyjamas to a club. so in the end, we decided only the brides-to-be to wear pyjamas, glo and jo can wear normally. hahaha.

yeah, it felt weird to be out in the pyjamas especially the moment we dropped off from the cab at clarke quay clubbing area. 

@ shanghai dolly. my first visit there. i used to have a colleague who loveeeee to hang out at this place. personally i thought the crowd's a bit mature.. and the place a little cheena.. i think majority of their performers are from mainland (ok.. where doesnt now, anyway..).. 

with 2 ladies whom we met there.. 

all in all, quite an experience lah. it's great having these gals around and doing crazy stuff together. so, 3 of us are 人妻 now, starting a brand new chapter in our lives. all the best to yy and yan in their new lives!! and wishing glo and jojo to be next soon!

InsTanT RaMeN/SubaRu ChallenGe 2014

one fine day was at westgate isetan and popped in to their supermarket with the intention to buy a loaf of white bread. then ended up walking around inside and realised they actually sell a lot of jap stuff.

was looking around all the interesting foodstuff which are really different from those at giant or fairprice, when I saw the instant ramen! yes, instant Japanese ramen! yeahh!

that shall satisfies my craving for ramen these days!

easy job, just cook the noodle in boiling water for 2 mins. then cook the satchet condiment in boiling water. add the 2 together and tada! (ok lah, separately still have to boil the crabmeat, mushroom and pork lah)

quite pro looking right? lol

taste quite good actually! really!

ok, the idea of buying and cooking them myself was actually to save some money, cuz the ramens at restuarants are not cheap right.

but actually, my DIY ramen are not that cheap either!

1) instant ramen shoyu (3 packets) - $6.90

2) US pork belly - $6.15

3) Enoki mushroom - $1.90

4) Seaweed - $2.60

Total = $17.55

so, it works out to be about $9 per bowl, not counting the crab meat. ok, overall still cheaper than restaurants, if you don't mind the cooking and washing up after that. hohohoho. recommended. at least better than the traditional instant noodle bah? (though instant noodle will be cheaper by don't know how many times...)

Freaks

you wouldn't know how shitifying it feels, when you are in a two-some team, and your co-worker is away on a good 4mths leave, leaving you to struggle all alone with all the load, and when she messaged you, it was purely to ask you if you will be around in March next year cuz she is planning to take leave during that period.

already on 4mths leave now, and cant wait to plan for next year leave already huh? 

it really bloody simply freaks me out.

really f**king sian having to work with pple like that. really f**k shit fed-up in having to cover people NON-STOP.

honestly, being in this new place for almost 1.5years, I have learnt nothing except

1) don't bother to talk to anyone, becuz you wont know when what you said will be spread, in a DISTORTED manner

2) don't bother to build any relationship, because they are just not worth it

3) if you want to be nice, FAKE it. you don't have to do it real

 

and last but not least, at work, no one will protect and help you, there is only you youself and yourself. start saving your own arse!
