BeiJinG DaY 2 - 7 JuNe 25

 Day 2 of our trip!

And then to tian an men square and 故宫!

Joined a mini local tour to bring us around 

And the q into 故宫was horrendous. Even with tour grp, we also had to q for about an hr leh.. under the hot scorching sun lor!! 

And I did not let them wear sunscreen b4 going out... din expect to be under the brutal sun for so long lor. Really alamakkk

Walked and walked and walked till siao.... 晒and 晒and 晒till siao too!

I think my boys 真的长大了... despite the 'harsh' conditions, they did not really throw tantrums..几安慰, 几安慰.. lol.

Towards the mid-end, we dropped off from the group and went explore on our own liao.

Finally found a place to sit and eat!!!

Surprisingly nice burger and milk tea wor.

And also ate 烤鸭and 炸酱面in another restaurant

传说中的红墙......

Yea, the last time we visited was in 2009, during winter, w mum n dad. Hahhaah. Nothing much has changed really. 

After that, took a bus and went wang fu jing...

And bumped into this 馿打滚! Hahahha 

This 馿打滚got history one. When we were in Beijing in 2009, hubb and I missed out on one day when the tour visited the 胡同and ate 驴打滚, cuz hubb fell sick. So, this 胡同and 驴打滚were one of the 遗珠s. Now finally get to try...

Ehh, nothing impressive. Like muah chee w a much stronger taste... 没有很喜欢.. haha

And... mixue!!!

After that, took a cab back to our hotel

And early dinner at the lounge..

Now showered and resting on the bed liao. 

Shiook.

Yeah.. 今天真的走好多啊. Need to rest early xia.

BeiJinG Trip DaY 1 - 6 JunE 25

 Yeaaa, day 1 of our Beijing trip!

 Pigging out at the lounge in the early morning.. 

Small hiccup b4 we board. Bought a facial balm at the dfs which the salesperson did not seal for me. And then, kenna caught at the gate, said the balm is more than 100ml and not sealed, so cannot bring in.

But they told me can go to the nearest dfs to have it sealed. Lucky, there was a dfs just nearby.  So galan gabok quickly go get it sealed. Heng ah! If not really wasted my money and the balm!

This time we pre ordered our meals b4 boarding.... lobster for hubb and me!!

Ah le enjoyed the most liao. B4 the actual meals were served, he said he was hungry liao, and ordered a cup noodle. After eating, he fell asleep..

While Rayous had his Angus beef burger 

And after he woke up, he continued w his main meal which was the chicken rice! Wah. Really ate alot xia.

After close to 6hrs, finally reached Beijing liao! Managed to watch 2 movies onboard - 误判 and 破地狱.

Weather in Beijing is as hot as sg xia... siaaannx.

Checked into our hotel, and pigging at the lounge again.. haha.

Some 古色古香within the hotel..

After that, went to a nearby mall to walk walk.

And happy to have drank a nice milk tea there!

Cute lahh.

And a large matcha boluo bao.  Wahahahahaa

Oki, going to sleep liao. Tmr going 故宫.

Yeah!

 On leave today to do the packing.....!

And brought the boys out for lunch

Been a week since we attended the lady gaga's mayhem concert!

Ya. Actually no intention to attend de.

Simply said, it was an unexpected failed investment. 

Really unexpected!! 

So, anyways, off we went to the national stadium!

Jio-ed sis too. Lol. Really a chuiz investment. 

Actually don't know much about lady gaga. Only know she has v exaggerated fashion sense, really live up to her gaga name, quite short in height, and had a sad past. The deepest impression was when she wore the meat outfit. 当年还真的有恶到我... hahahhaa.

真的是万人体育场..好壮观.. and v impressive why one person can amass such strong support. All these ppl came just to see her leh. Seriously!

And yes, really many pple dressed up... as if Halloween night xia.

Honestly, our seats were no good. Simi hot seat experience?! Can only see the side view of the stage and the screens lor! Really cannot see properly de. Boo!

If can watch straight view, will be soo sooo much better and breath taking lor.

I also watched snippets of the concert on YouTube... her performance really so so good.

And yes, got impressed by her. 可以唱，可以跳，可以弹琴... 真的好棒棒!

And 有爱上她的歌s.

Yeah, so the concert started around 830pm and ended around 1030pm. Then the way out of the carpark was so so jam lor. Think jam almost 1hr then managed to get out of the carpark, and finally reached home past 12midnight.

Next time really cannot attend concert in a mid week xia.

Yeah. And... 就这样没有了~$1.4K.

 Ahahaha, 两个小瓜送我上班.

Online meet the parents session..... and that gave the boys 2 days off school.
