LasT Day of JunE

woohoo! 

last day of june! 

1st half of the year's gone! 

now june was an hectic month. 

1st june started with a fathers' day celebration at the school with the superhero theme. 

to prepare for it, i actually went online to order the outfits ok! 

initially i had wanted to order those full costume. literally full bat-man costume. but hubb was saying what if the delivery did not arrive in time, and it really is an one-off outfit, cuz we cannot be wearing them on normal days.

after considering his advice, i went ahead to order just the t-shirts with the logo print. but to make it more fun (rather than just plain old t-shirts..), i also ordered the capes. 

 the capes did arrive in time, but as per hubb's warning, the t-shirts did not arrive in-time. super sad laaaaaa.

well, with the cape, we can still go to the party la... but remember, this ah di fell ill????

yeahhh, and so, we forgo the party altogether!! diaooooo...

see, sometimes, really no need to plan in advance! things will happen and thwart the plans!!!

and so, my capes.... wasted liao... until there is a next superhero occasions. haa

and the t-shirts.... nvm.. can keep for new year.. hahaa. really lucky never buy the super kua-zhang full suits. else, really wasted to the super max liao.

yep, and june, many other happenings also! 

important decisions materialised, important documents signed, and we went on a little family trip to msia.... 

coming next half of the yr... surely more exciting and bz.. kind of unplanned for... but well... no choice now liaooo.. 

scary.. 

but will just go with the flow yea.

day 2 of our genting trip! 

the 1st thing we went back to the hotel last night, was to find out if there is any stroller for rental!!!! 

lucky for us..... there is!! so we chop chop rented one first.

woohoo!

and then went for dim sum breakfast. yum!!!

and then a walk around the indoors.

then we parted ways. sis and family went on the 1-day trip. i took the folks to go shopping. while this hubb........ happily went to the casino, leaving me alone with the 2 folks and 2 kiddos! really horrrr!

we rented another stroller, and the 2 boys fell asleep on the strollers, so can walk around peacefully with the folks for awhile. after that, dad said he'd sit somewhere with the sleeping children so that i can go shop with mum. but worried that he would not be able to handle them when they woke up, i only left rayous with him, while pushing raythorous along. 

and who knows, after that, we took a looooong time to come back and meet dad. cuz, we lost our way! the whole place was sooo soooooo big la. have to walk super far back, then can go back to where we parted. lucky this ah ma still ok to walk. haha.

and when we finally found dad and rayous, rayous was well awake liao. lucky he did not throw tantrum and gave dad a hard time. LOL.

so we went for lunch after that

really lucky got the strollers... else dont know how xia..... 

and finally this hubb came back to meet us. tada! bumped into batman!! LOL

after that, the kids and mum and i went back to the hotel room to rest and nap.

look at these 2 boys... pattern alot!! 

and the men... went gambling again!!!

before we finally gather again for dinner. woot!

and then dessert time after that... 

and apparently, the kids are not fascinated by the super big indoor amusement park. they did not say they want to ride on any of them. i think they are still too young and too overwhelmed with all the scary rides and lightings. instead, they got super happy with these kind of, literally, kiddy rides!

yup, so that were our 2 days in genting. the transformation is really great. the whole indoor has changed sooo soooo much. the rides are so much more impressive and the mall, woo, u just really got to see for yourself. like i said, it was soooo big, that we got lost inside. soooo many shops and restaurants and etc etc etc.... soo different from what it used to be. 

of cuz, now also very much more crowded than what it used to be. 

 i once tot that genting will be a dying place, cuz nobody goes there anymore. but now, i cant say so anymore. the revamp is just impressive. and will be better so once the outdoors are ready. 

and if this revamp were to take place earlier, probably the five-star tour agency wouldnt have closed down liao.... and we wouldnt have became victims to the closing down....... really.....

somtimes, really just a timing issue....

GenTinG Day 1 - 21 June 2019

oh hohoho. our genting cum KL trip! 

embarked on 21june.. coach at 7am... 

the folks and sis's family took the coach frm chinatown.. then we met them at the jurong east pick-up point

tada!

we bought 4 seats, but in the end only utilised 2 seats, cuz the boys are too young to really sit on their own. so most of the time, we were stuck w one boy each. ha

and at times... we r stuck w 2 boys!! all cozy and snugged up. LOL

the folks! 

and sis's family!

actually we've been to genting for a couple of times tog liao... 1st time was in aug2013.... 2nd time was in sept2016 i think, shortly after knowing that i was preggy w raythorous. kekeekee. i din blog abt the sept2016 trip cuz after that was having pregnancy blues and no mood to do anything liao. but that time we did not bring rayous along, cuz we reckoned that he will not be able to take the long coach journey.. and BIL also did not come along. only me, hubb, sis, ms quek, and the folks. ahhaahah.

so this time is the time when so many of us went tog!

our meals onboard. in the past they always stop at some station for us to take our meals, but it seemed like they have stop this practice, and supply meal onboard instead. also good la. no need board and alight, board and alight. and waste time queueing and eating food..

 but will still need to stop for toilet breaks la.

wooohoooo. the coach journey wasnt all rosy. as mentioned, this raythorous puked once, and spilled water on me once. but ok la, at least they werent all crying and uncooperative.

after a super loooong ride... we finally reached genting! superrrrrr crowded xia...

when i first alighted from the coach, i tot all were still the same. the same lobby, the same everything. but as we walked around, the transformation became apparent.

the indoor is totally different now, no longer the pathetic few children rides. the rides are much more sophisticated and fun. the whole area has expanded tremendously. soo sooo big that it's really quite impossible to finish walking the whole place. sooooo mannnnyy restaurants selling all sorts of food.. and soooo many bbt stalls also!! u really got to see for yourself.

at the end of day 1, i was totally exhausted and my back was aching like mad. without the stroller, it was soo hard to keep the 2 boys in check. and we also had to carry our barangs. grrr... i really dont know how did we missed the stroller out. ok, on a day to day basis, when we go out, we never use stroller. but when it comes to travelling, stroller is really our best friend. so, i have no idea y we did not bring it along this time. i did mention bringing, but hubb said no need. and i dont know why i agreed that there's no need. omg.

and to worsen thing, i had gastric pain after dinner. so not much mood to walk around liao, though there were so many things to see and watch.

The transformation of genting is amazing!

We came just 3yrs ago and now 3yrs down, the whole place has revamped so soo soooooo much. 

不得不给一个赞！

And lucky for us, we managed to get strollers for rental!
