除夕

Cny eve.. knocked off at 1pm.. then went back jurong to eat. Most stalls were closed already, only left one noodle stall and I had prawn noodle. Heng ah. At least still got something to eat.  Haha. And it's really one of the best prawn noodle I had. Yumm.

After that fetched rayous home, tu and nua at hm before we headed to sum kee restaurant for the reunion dinner.  

First time we had reunion dinner outside. Mainly worry for the MIL, cux won't be easy for her to cook a big feast when Mr rayous is around.. so hubb suggested eating out and the 2 brothers agreed too.

Also invited some of the aunties and uncle to join us at the dinner.

After that went mum's place sit for awhile before heading to hubb's eldest paternal uncle's house for visiting.

Ushering in of the Rooster yr was done at home.

The restaurant serves only abalone yusheng, no sashimi. Small thin pieces of abalone nia..

glad to know all are still doing well.

The salmon portion is quite little though. Very thin portion also. But the food there are nice la, as usual.

Also tried out cold stone ice cream for the first time. V sua gu. Haha

 i dont know about you, but i personally thought that's freaking expensive for something at a foodcourt....

fish soup $5.50, add fish $2, add tomyum $1, plus rice $0.70. 

wtf.. 

add tomyum $1, when the whole bottle of tomyum paste is selling at most $3 at the super market.. 

and when did one bowl of rice become $0.70 at the foodcourt ar??????

回顾2016 & Hello 2017!

回顾2016... 

honesly, 2016 just wheezed by.. and really nothing much to 回顾... hahhaa. 

well, it marks a full yr of work after maternity leave in 2015. at the end of 2015, i had hoped that 2016 i will be able to change job. fortunately or unfortunately, that did not happen. i am still where i am. duh.

and then i hoped to travel with rayous and both sides of the family. and yes, we did manage to travel to HK and macau and bintan w rayous and parents-in-law. and w mum and dad, we managed to go genting, albeit w/o rayous. hoho. 

and then, i said, it will be a good time to try for a 老二 towards the end of 2016, so that he or she can arrive in 2017. well, technically, that did not happen.... or rather, half happened. becuz instead of trying towards end 2016, he is already happily snugging inside me.... now. 

so, not too bad huh. at least 2 out of 3 targets attained! LOL!

what else happened ah... erm... had root canal done... rayous reached 1 yr old... attended a few weddings of good friends.. din managed to slim down.. blah blahhh..  

come 2017..... 

hopefully, at work, i can get what i want. 

rayous will be starting school in march. hopefully he can blend in well and continue to grow healthily and happily. 

another bundle of joy will be arriving in may.. looking forward to a whole new level of experience again.. and good time away from work again.. honestly need to use this time to do some serious planning liao. 

and also must use this golden opportunity to lose weight liao. pump pump pump and suck me dry plsss!! LOL 

and of cuz, with new family member arriving, i MUST make sure rayous is not neglected. must make effort to spend more time w him and love him even more. 

travel... uhmm... i think unlikely le lah.. haiz.. maybe 2018 bah..

and of cuz, continue to love myself and each and everyone around me who matters.

yeahh. looking forward to a whole new yr!

anyway, on eve eve, knocked off at around 4plus... then went home rest awhile before catching the movie - the great wall - at jem. hubb bought the premium tickets at about $80 for 2pax. seriously.... 

the price include food and drinks la... but still... duper expensive loh..

and then new yr eve! 

started off w a hearty breakfast at tim ho wan westgate

then shopped awhile and let the boy played awhile...

and night time, we also went countdown ok! dont play play! 

but countdown at our neighbourhood only la. LOL. yeah, got celebration here. so might as well go join in the fun rather than stay at home so sad right... went at around 2315hr... and ushered in the new yr at 0000 hrs.. got fireworks also ok. not bad de.. keke. 

and new yr day, wanted to go temple pray but was raining so so heavily.

in the end din go, but had dinner at chinatown point. 

never occured to me that w rayous, we could still enjoy korean bbq buffet, but we did! not bad man!! 

yeah, so happy new yr again! 

may 2017 be a good good year for everybody!
