WeddinG AcTuaL DaY - SolemniSaTioN

our solemnisation, yeah, same day as our wedding day.

it's quite of a mad rush, really. after we reached the hotel, bathed, removed make-up.... the MUA came knocking on the door again. uh-huh, and it's preparation for the solemnisation!

together with the make-up and hairdo for MIL and mum, by the time im done, it was actually quite late already.

and for MBS, one thing not so good was that the banquet venue is a distance away from the hotel rooms. so... being already late, we rushed like mad and cheong all the way thru the MBS shopping mall to the solemnisation function room like one run-away bride with my 2 sisters in front, 2 sisters behind, and MUA pulling the make-up luggage following us. LOL. like one super star lahh.

and by the time we finally rushed and reached the function area, I was told to slow down and no need to rush liao.... cuz..... the photographers and videographers had not arrived yet!!!!!

apparently their car broke down and caused the delay. in the end, we were like almost an hr late for the solemnisation! lucky our solemniser was not rushing for elsewhere... but it was kidda obvious that he wasn't very happy to have waited for so long. well, who would? so paisay lah.

dinner was at supply and demand at orchard gateway. the food is not bad, but the service a little slow. and it just stunned us when the pork chop that we ordered seemed a little undercooked and when we asked for a re-do, the waitress actually asked us if we did requested for the pork chop to be well-done.

uh-huh?

so pork can also choose rare, medium-rare, medium, medium-well and well huh??!

yeah, maybe. maybe it's just us who are sua-kus......

anyway, gift exchange was held at this coffee house at central. haha, lucky still got this place which was not crowded. lol.

been wanting to buy such a hand warmer too, cuz office is really too cold. but i think it's a bit unpractical to use in office, cuz both hands will need to come out and type. in the end, i took gloves to the office instead. believe it or not!

xmas eve last year was spent watching movie - night in the museum 3.

yeah, hubb booked the gold class tix again. hoho. comes with 2 drinks per pax and dessert.

the dessert was churros with ice-cream, but really cannot make it lah. the churros totally chuiiiiii......hard and tasteless. totally spolit my impression of churros...

xmas day was spent at jc's and wl's new house after we had paradise inn lunch at seletar mall.

played games, watched an episode of running man, and Korean noodles and sides for dinner

honestly, when did table calendars become such a rare thing huh?!

in the past, there will always be business partners who will come and distribute their calendars.. then i will always ask sis and hubb if they need any, then i can shun bian take for them. 

then that day, sakae sushi gave us a free calendar and i happily offered it to hubb, confidently telling him that my company will have many, and i dont need it. 

but who knows..... this year.... none! 

and i had to resort to buying one.

and then, u think it's that easy to buy a table calendar?! no way! 

went to a few bookshops and either they are not selling, or already sold out! diaoooooo! 

in the end, had to resort to being thick-skin enough to ask the shopping centre redemption counter if they have table calendars for give-away. 

and luckily, chinatown point has! hohohohoho

it was in the news that the demand for table calendars had went down alot, since most people now use the calendar function in the phone. that probably explains why the shops are not carrying table calendars anymore huh... 

so pple, yes.. start cherishing and appreciating that calendar sitting on your table!! woohoo!

so now... it's 4th day into 2015!

time to reflect on 2014.

2014 had been a great year.

it had seen me receiving the highest bonus and increment for all my years with the co. it had seen my marital status changed from single to married. it had seen our 1st travel to Europe region. and also.... the formation of... *ahem*

work-wise, nothing much.. only the usual imbalance and sian-ness. honestly, I also have no idea how I survived through. haha. but 2014 had also seen my longest absence away from work. honestly sometimes, there really is no need to think or worry too much. December had really ended in a way which I never expected. hoho.

yes, all in all, 2014 had been great!!

come 2015, more anticipations! there will be more milestones and definitely a whole new level of experience!

looking forward to an even better year!
