if you dont already know, counting number of yusheng lao-ed for the year, is a must for me!

My PhiLiPs Air-FrYeR

i have been eyeing this air-fryer for a long long long time... been wondering long time if it can work.. how it works..whether the food will turn out as tasty (though yes, i have received many feedback that it does work!) blah blah blahhhh...

and now, finally.... bought!

look at these!!!! nicely fried till golden brown w/o having to add oil at all!!

fanstastic.. im really amazed! my fave harshbrowns!! vvvv happy!! 

as good as though they were being oil-fried.....

so far only tried frying harshbrowns, nuggets and chicken fillets..and each time, it's only one layer.. i havent tried over-lapping the food.. but i guess by overlapping, the results may not be as good. 

im satisfied so far. it really works and the food are crispy and as tasty (though i really have no idea what's the mechanism behind it... i mean, how did the air fry the food??! and equally crispy??!) actually, these food already contain quite a bit of oil in themselves, so there's really no need to add more oil. 

it's also easy to wash.. but just one bad point - the capacity is too small, cant fry alot at one go.. and it's a bit space consuming, given that the actual capacity is very limited. 

other than that, it's a perfect investment!

next, im going to check out the ceracraft pans. advertised on the JML home-shopping in channel U every morning. apparently, they are super good non-stick pans and can also cook without having to add oil!! i wanna test it out!!!!

ok.... very unfortunate to announce... but..... 

we are victims to the damn five stars tour agency saga!!

this is like the ultimate.......

boss is on biz trip.. and my colleague already said to wait for his return before my leave can be confirmed... then i gei kiang...buay gam wan... gun chong spidey.... kept chasing for my leave to be approved.. and finally.. ok....

then happily told hubb to go ahead to book the tour to genting.. 

and immediately the next day, the news came out!!!

yes, the tour was booked on tues, and on wed, the co shut down! 

hubb was the one who went to book and the staff told him to pay in cash cuz the machines are not working... when hubb enquired on the in-coach entertainment, the staff said the coaches no longer have in-coach entertainment cuz of complaints by customers... hubb still told me it's ok, we can bring our own entertainment...

now looking back, all these are pure signs of the company bursting soon! 

but.. who could have tot of that??

i mean, five stars is really one of the more established in the industry. who could have tot of it going bust?!!

and even to the last minute, they are still trying to collect money from unknown innocent harmless consumers like us!!! im truly disappointed.

this is just pure cheating.

initially i tot the staff were also out to cheat, but apparently they were also victims. 

the mgmt are truly evil. knew they cannot make it, kept silent about it, continued to collect money, absconded with the money, threw the staff behind, betrayed trust of consumers.... all just before cny period....... 

what goes round will come round... beware of KARMA!!!!!!!!!!

and, apparently, the canto-wok restaurant just next to the head office also belongs to the same boss and has also shut down.. 

knew wad? i almost wanted to book cny eve dinner there! when i called that day, the person still told me to go fb and check out their menu and pricing! WTH???!!

lucky never book xia..... else will lose even more!

have already filed insurance and CASE. but from the so many comments so far, looks like very unlikely we can get the money back le..

GoodBye 2013!! WelcomE 2014!!

ohhhhh, how time flies. in just a blink of an eye, 2014 has arrived!!

let's reflect on 2013 first. well, i will say 2013 has been a not too bad year. many things happened esp at work. i was promoted, changed  dept, had new bosses and colleagues, and new job scope. i had escalated to a whole new level of game and exposure. i had learnt alot and grew alot, all thanks to the new pple around me. i had tendered letter and took it back. i had listened to many things, some good some bad, but never sure if they are real or fake. it was really a year with many many changes/encounters at work.it was like.... WOW! 

in 2013, i promoted to be a home-owner too! hiak hiak. if i login to my cpf account now, under 'property', there will be an address shown already. LOL.

travel-wise, visited new place like maldives and of cuz, old places like hk/macau/genting/KL.

other than that, nothing much in 2013. work was really the one thing that was most happening. 

now, 2014 will be an exciting year. am expecting more challenges at work. it will not be easy, shall just see how it goes. am half-expecting to hear some arrangement that i will not like on the 1st working day in 2014 tmr. well, hope it's juz me thinking too much. 

and 2014 will be the year me promoting to 'MRS'. ooooohh, OMG! lots to be done, and i better start my butt moving.

 and, welcoming this exciting year, was at our little humble home w our friends. hehehhe.

  teppanyaki dinner at jp and then to our home for board games and drinks.. no crowd, no fuss. well, it should be wine glasses that we are holding, but.. sorry, very limited glassware at home. kekekkeek. 

and i was at the kitchen washing up and i started telling the lady friend that the UIC dishwashing liquid is not as effective as the mama lemon liquid and that the mama lemon liquid is better in removing oiliness.. and then i realised OMG, y am i even discussing this with her??! shouldnt we be discussing which brand of dresses is nice, which brand of cosmetics is good to use, which brand of bags is preferred etc etc?? y the hell am i talking abt mama lemon dishwashing liquid??! 

signs of turning into an auntie!!!!! 

this is just sooo scary! grrrrrrrr 

anyway, in 2014, there is just one resolution - to be happy!

i will go all out to do all things to make myself happy! think less, worry less, just stay calm and be happy!
