visted sentosa adventure cove on friday. was hubb's company's cohesion day and the tickets were sold are a cheaper rate for family members.
sentosa has been developing very fast over these few years and many new attractions. so much so that i didnt know wad adventure cove is about.
and so, it's a water amusement park!! like fantasy island in sentosa many many years ago... and like wild wild wet in downtown east..
one of hubb's colleagues joining us
lazing on the lazy pool.. basically just sit on the floats and the current will travel you through the never-ending river.. kekekee. quite relaxing really.
the park is quite small actually. and nothing very special about the rides. really juz like the predecessor - fantasy island. and the rides are almost all the same as what we played at whitewater world in goldcoast.
this is the best section of the lazy pool. get to see the fishes swimming around and above u... very pretty
stingrays! many many many of them!!
and like all amusement parks, the queueing part is a killer. for our 1st ride, we queued like almost an hour! and while queueing, it started to rain heavily, and so everyone queued in the super heavy downpour. luckily the rain stopped after awhile. the queue for the rest of the rides are still bearable, i think the 1st ride we took is the most popular one, that's y the queue took soo long.
we took most of the rides, except for 1 or 2 which we missed due to time constraint. spent too much time queuing and lazing in the pool liaoz. lol. overall nothing very impressive about the park, cuz the rides are really similar to what were in fantasy island many years old, and what are in goldcoast.
super tiring after playing for one whole day. and... the queuing continues when we decided to dine at marche.. queued for like another hour plus at marche vivocity!! madness lahhh! it really was a queueing day!!
but i must say, the food at marche is really nice. especially the sweet crepe dessert with the movenpick ice-cream!! yummmmmy
and hubb's friend managed to capture one of those pics which the professional photographers took for us while we were playing. the photos are selling at $35 per piece, can u believe it?! really too ex, so we din bought any..
fun and tiring day. :)
