lunch session with colleagues from my current dept. my team mates :)

jinny and shermaine. i just realised jinny was also from jjc! 3 yrs my senior and her son is alrady 3yrs old! wad am i doing huh?

shermaine is currently pregnant with twins and her twins are a boy and a gal! nice huh. but it wouldnt be nice when she goes on maternity ... cuz we gott cover her workload liao. oppz. 

me and boss. i dont know why.. but i've got a feeling she doesnt really like me... and im usually quite right about this kind of thingie. haii ...

and so, these are my full team members + my team lead. time flies. come may will be my full one yr with the new dept liao. finally a rookie no more!

and.... introducing ms kristin goh aka my qing ai de!

kristin was also previously from collections and she got trsf here earlier than me. and when i 1st trsf over, she was a real great help and pillar of support to me. we werent close when we were in collections cuz we were of different teams. it was only in this new place that we got closer. 

w/o her, life would have been sooo much worse off. i know she's reading this, so... thanks kristin gal. thanks for being soooo sweeeeet and thoughtful.  you have been real nice and it's soo great having u around :) xie xie ni!! from the bottom of my heart.

my internet network at home is down. tt explains why my blogposts are soo not frequent now. if u check it out, my recent posts are all on wkends and i did them at macdonald's. no joke.

1st jan bday celeb was for jo... dinner at paradise dynasty @ ion orchard. .. suggested by yan (or was it jansen?).

i tell u .. the xiao long baos here are supberb! i've never tasted such good and juicy xiao long baos before! it's really the best best best!! must try!!!!

~ colorful xiao long baos. abit the errrr right?? but they taste alrite.. though the color really abit off ~

~ and in order to get the maximum enjoyment out of the taste, u are recommended to eat them in order. lol ~

jan's one of the month when many of my frens/families have their bdays in. the 3 in this blog aside, there'r still cousin min, jennifer, bee etc etc..

Batu PaHaT Trip

went on an amazing 2d1n batu pahat tour with pa, ma and hubb last wkn. amazing... u'll soon learn why.

~ waiting for the tour bus on sat morning... at outram mrt station.. ~

~ lunch ~

~ check in hotel. apparently it's the best hotel in the whole of batu pahat ~

after that was to a shopping mall. to watch performance. and guess wad? the performance was by our tour members!! now u know y this trip was amazing. apparently, it's a trip organised by my pa's karaoke kakhis and this trip was in fact a ktv-cum-sight seeing trip!!

and.... hubb and i were the youngest in the whole tour. all rest are LKKs............ -_-.. no wonder pa so nicely treated us to this trip. wanna us to be the cheerleaders and take care of ma lahhhh...

 it's amazing how they managed to make it into such a big scale exercise. previously were community centres dinners..... now..... performing in a shopping mall as if they are really singers!!!! stunned!!!

while they sang... me and hubb took some time to shop around the mall. and yes, things in msia are reaaaalllyy cheapper!!!!

after that was to dinner... and yet more singing.....

before checking in to the hotel for the night.....

then sunday morning. started with buffet breakfast :)

~ checking out ~

then... to a temple.. to 'touch fish'. lol ..

actually shouldnt put the touch fish in inverted commas... cuz, it's literally to touch the fish! apparently, it was said that if u managed to touch the fish, u'll strike 4d. touch the head and will tio tau bio. touch the tail and will tio bay sai. and of cuz.. whether u manage to touch the fish or not, will largely depend on if you have the yuan fen with the fishes or not..

think it's easy?? look at how lang bei we were and u'll knoe if it's easy or not! i was glad i din strain my neck. keke.

after that was to sheep farm.....

that's a foal we are holding.. but looks like a little dog eh?

then to honey farm....

also visited a bird nest outlet.... and supposed to visit an organic farm also... but it was raining and the organic farm trip was cancelled after everyone's consensus. and in place, was an earlier arrival to the restaurant so that they can karaoke somemore before dinner.

that was bored.. cuz no shopping areas nearby and we were kidda stuck to listen to them sing. boohoo.



all in all, it was a good trip lah. short getaway. and apparently.. their next trip will be to malacca to perform.
