nearer and nearer to tt day... anytime now we'll be expecting the letters to arrive.

collegue's bet is this wk. my bet is next week. but then, juz got to recall tt last year it was 10march. so, the best bet will be the wk after next.

tt day alr announced tt this year, there'll be no promotions. and....... it was announced that the bottom 5% (of the whole division) in terms of performance will not get any bonus.

the whole division's abt 100 odd staff? so 5% will be like 5???

on friday had a sudden craving for crabs.. and hence after OT, went G7 to makan with hubb. woohoo!! sinful!!!

apparently the frog legs were selling at 3 for the price of 2... but then, regardless of how we looked at it, there did not seem to be 3 frogs in tt claypot. ~ *

yummy yum yum. satisfied. but super guilty ~

sat went to try out the ice monster @ bugis.

mmm... nothing compared to the 'chua-bing' tt we had in taipei.. this one more ex, and much smaller in portion.. and not tt yummy either ~ i think i wont patronise again.

but their menu is coming up with cooked food which looks good.. so well, maybe will patronise again to try the food, but definitely not the ice.

sat also went massage with hubb.. mmm.. 1st time in singapore. we tried once in bangkok.. mmm.. not too bad.. my back and shoulder were really aching.. it was better after the massage. but $40/hr.. kidda ex xia..

ShiTTy DaY

tdy is a lousy day!

the strap on my heels broke on the way to work! lucky i was at the lobby of the building liao. mian qiang still can make it to office. borrowed glue from colleague and attempted to stick it back, hoping it can still bring me home after work..

who knows, halfway through work, juz b4 lunch, my contact lens chipped off in my left eye! a part of it was coming off! no choice but gotta remove it. i still thought i could bear the day through with half eye visible and half eye blurrrrr, but then, it was really too irritating and i decided to take half day off.

*

i could have bought those disposables but it was like $30/box lor. my eyes is not suitable to wear disposables, hence kidda wasteful if i spend the $30.

sian lar, wasted my half-day leave juz like tt. and superior is taking the leave as urgent leave. arggh! bad record!!!!!! and my productivity for the day!!

V-Day 2009

v-day this year was a fun one ~ heh ~

my presents to him are: pillow case with imprinted photo, cake and specs. his presents to me are: chocolate 'flower' and an anklet from goldheart. :)

1st stop was to plaza sing to try out the pizza hut's valentine's day special. the waiting time was like 45mins b4 we finally got a place lor ~ comes with 2 soups, 2 drinks, 1 pizza, criss-cross fries and 1 dessert. pizza and dessert both in heart shapes.. wahwha ~ yum~

while waiting for the table at pizza hut's, we went execute part of our plan 2.. shopped at carrefour and tried to get a few items tt we'll need for plan 2. basically plan 2 was to conduct a bbq session! yes, bbq session for juz the 2 of us :)

always wanted to conduct one, but it's always due to unforseen circumstances, tt it did not work out in the end. this time round, we really did make an effort to make it happen.

by the time we finished @ pizza hut and finally reached jurong imm, it was already abt 7pm+. giant was sooooo packed with pple and we had hard time looking for the stuff tt we need. and the worse thing was, the fire starters were sold out! lucky in the end hubb managed to get some from his fren who's staying nearby. and all thanks to his bro for lending him the car so tt he can hurry go to his fren's place and return.

so fun! though the marinated wings frm giant r not tt yummy and the stingrays did not turn out as fantastic as i thought they'll be, it was still fun! i think nxt time must prepare in advance. self-marinate will be better.. then must marinate for a night else the flavour will not be tt strong..

though no economies of scale and doesnt make much sense to start a bbq session for 2-3 pple, i think it's still fun once in a while. good way to get together and strengthen relationship. i think it wont be too long b4 i want another bbq session. heheh ~ i love it when we r doing senseless things together :)

quite abit of changes @ work. dont know if it's for the better or for the worse. many annoucements coming out too... looks like there's nothing to look forward to in march already. well, we shall see how. hopefully it's satisfactory enuff to give me the reason to stay on.
