人生宝贵的一课

曾经我以为我是幸运的。

今天上了人生宝贵的一课。

六年过了的今天，我终于彻底明白人生是什么一回事。

可能是我之前碰到的都是好人，所以导致我的警觉性下降，开始认为每个人都一样是好人，开始以为可以向每个人说出真心话。

也有可能我真的越界了。忘了自己是什么身份。也忘了对象是谁。正所谓的大头症吧。

小人当道。无力反抗。

 无奈。

一直以为自己很聪明。原来是最笨。最最最笨。

说出去的话，不知道会被谁拿去传，会被谁听到，会被谁误解。

很受伤。很困惑。很失望。很难受。

从今以后，我封口。

我不会再相信任何人。

我不会再说真心话。我不会再有真面目。

我的世界复杂了。封闭了。也被隔离了。

BuFFeT aT PaRkRoYaL

met up with jc mates for buffet dinner at beach road parkroyal.

yes! oh-wah-jian! this really is the 1st hotel buffet which i went to that serves fried oysters.. hahaha..cool~

crab fiesta! yes, currently they are having this crab fiesta thingie... butter crab, chilli crab, nonya crab.. etc etc..

and, roasted meat~

the food and spread are both okay. but sashimies abit limited, cuz only have salmon and octupus. desserts also kidda limited. nothing much to go with the choco fondue except for marshmellows and honeydew.

and bee is expecting her 2nd bb! will be due in dec this year! hahahahah. congrats congrats!

glad that the haze situation got better over the weekend. the day it went up to PSI 400 was no joke. it was sooo bad, that we could literally see nothing when looking out of the office windows.. it really was scary...

heard certain part of msia had experienced PSI 700!!! gosh.. incred...

drink more water peeps. stay healthy!

yay! will be off to HK and Macau in Nov.

haze condition has hit a record high of PSI 290!

the air smells bad. cant see things from afar. things at home have a layer of dust particles on them - table tops, cabinet tops, floor... etc etc...

coupled with the super hot weather.. ahhhhh..

stay indoor, stay moisturised and hydrated, and drink more water, peeps!

FatheRs' DaY

seriously, i didnt know fathers' day is such big hoo-haa now.

was trying to make reservation at a number of places and was really surprised to know that for this fathers' day weekend, either there is a specific dining timing (u know, like during the cny, they give u specific dining time slots), or they only serve the set menus and no ala carte (again, like what they do during cny). some are even fully booked..

when did everybody start celebrating fathers' day huh?

must be that advertisment with animals saying every year, only mothers' day is being remembered and no one remembers fathers' day. LOL.

anyway, we celebrated at imperial herbal treasure in vivocity.

MaLDiVeS DaY 3 - 17/5/2013

day 3 of the trip!

after breakfast, i went sun-tanning while hubb went back to sleep.

and then, it was lunch time! haha

after lunch, we went on an(other) island trip

gotta take boat ride to this island named Guraidhoo - an inhabited island in the south of Male, Maldives

there we reached! this is not a resort island. it really is an island where the maldivian live in.

yes, the 'real' maldives where the locals live in, is totally different from what i initially thought. so, it's not always sun, sand and sea. get real!

the tour provided us the chance to peek into how the locals living are. of cuz, we cant experience much from that few hours, but at least, we now know how the streets of a typical maldive island are like.

there are also a number of souvenir shops on the island. the crap thing is, there is no price tag on all items. how they work is, u choose what you want, then the staff will quote you the prices. and then you can bargain on the price and negotiate till both sides are happy.

in my view, that is pure 'docking' of tourists. they can quote whatever prices they like, and it's really up to u how much and how far you want to bargain. and i bet, they will look at the nationality before they decide how much they want to quote. pure crap!

and then dinner time!

the rooms are cleaned up twice in a day, once in the morning, and once at night. nice gesture by the resort. seriously, they could have just provided house-keeping once a day, like what most hotels worldwide are doing.

on the 1st 2 days, there are really no asian at all. all those tourists whom we saw are all angmohs. think it was only day 3 when we started to spot a few asian. and day 4, we bumped into a group of singaporean when we went on the sunset fishing trip. hahaha.

MaLDiVes Day 2 - 16/5/2013

day 2 of our trip. started off with buffet every morning, which generally is more or less the same for all morning.

testing... testing..not easy tying a hammock..it wasnt really secured... so in the end, we just left it hanging on the tree and did not use it. lol

then, we tried out snorkeling..

saw many beautiful fishes....

and then lunch time!

and photo-taking session after that

then snack time. as our 3 meals were provided by the resort, this was the 1st meal that we paid. the food wasnt as expensive as what we thought. hehehe.

but this ice-cream really cannot make it lehhh.. sooo super smallllll scoops lahhh.

and then more photoshoots...

and then, we went back to nap. and at the end of it, we were soooooo tired, that we gave the dinner a missed and slept throughout. there is a dinner theme which is different for every night and the one we missed was the oriental night. boohoo. guess we were exhuasted from the snorkeling.

and by day 2, we were already down with sun-burnt. mine was mainly on the back, while hubb had it for the whole body. hohoho.
