BeiJinG DaY 4 - 9 JuNe 25

 Day 4 of our trip!!

Bf!!

Almost the same bf everyday.... 有小sian 了.. haha.

And then off to the great wall of China!

Almost 1.5hrs car ride from our hotel

And then a super long q to take the chair lift up to the great wall

When almost reaching our turn, the sky started to turn dark. And then it started to drizzle. Lucky we still managed to board onto one b4 they stopped the service due to the rain... else gotta wait again! Heng ar

Tada! Hubb and raythorous in the 'cabin' before us

To be honest, was quite scary. Literally an open (raining) cable car experience!

When about to reach, still got a professional photoshoot. Lol

After we alighted, the rain got heavy liao. Lucky got to buy rain coats.

Last round came 穿羽绒服. This time round 穿雨衣. Haa.

After that supposed to have a tobogganing down de... but cuz of the rain and the long q, we decided to give that a miss, and walked down the steps back to the main street instead.

After that was the 1.5hrs ride back to our hotel nearby for a ......宫廷宴!!

Tada!!

Lol... 几夸张了吧!

China fine dining really. 5 course meal plus a dessert @ sgd200+ per pax.

Then 1st dish - braised meat

Soup w fish maw, sea cucumber, and abalone. Yumm.

And yoghurt for dessert.

Surprisingly 很饱一下...overall not bad. But the taste abit too rich for my liking.. like 太过浓郁了...

The sgd200+ per pax is only for the food. hubb topped up to have the costumes and makeover... and also a professional photoshoot.

What an experience really. Not cheap, but fun to have.

Yet to receive the pics for the photoshoot.

Tmr going xi an. Lucky train is in the afternoon. No need wake up so early.
