It's our 8th wedding anniversary! 

What improvement! 

Last year still need to get pre event testing, and this year, no need mask liao!!!! 

Went for a massage early in the morning. 

Then shopped around for awhile before having high tea at Goodwood Park Hotel. Been wanting to try it, one of the best spread among the so many high teas that I googled. 

Then on the way there, saw the actor Edmund Chen. Wah, he really looked damn young for his age!!! Very fit and handsome. According to Google, he's 61 this yr. But he really looked like in his 40s lor. Woah. 

Tada. 

And then, believe it or not. While seated there, saw our ex president Mr Tony Tan and his wife walked past!! 

Very friendly. We waved and they waved back. Hahahaha

And then shortly after, Mr Vivian Balakrishan also walked past! 

Lol

Seemed like they have a luncheon at the Chinese restaurant there. 

Anyways, us! 

Sigh. Quite disappointing really. Thought it will be served in those classy tiered cutleries..... Alas... Its really buffet style and everything ownself serve ownself. 

Kaox. If I had known, wouldn't have spent the money to eat this liao! Paid for the classy atmosphere, in the end, its buffet. Could have gone for international buffet or steamboat...

See... All the finger food and carbs

And the taste really just so so also.... 

Anyways now I know. Next time must find out properly, make sure got the classy tai tai atmosphere then go. Hahahhahahah

After that shopped awhile more, before picking the boys. Got to rush abit cuz got tkd today. Ha

And.. Managed to A hubb a dancing ring! Hehehehhehehehe

 Went see doc again 2nd time.

Same clinic but a different doc, and a doc who refused to give me antibiotics.

Sigh. 

I know my own stuff. 

Everytime I kenna this shit, will need antibiotics to clear de.

Sianx. Haven't been well for the past few days. Down with a flu... Urgh. 

Started with rayous. Self medicated, then he recovered. Then became raythorous. Took him to see doc and sort of recovered. And now, it's me. Also seen doc liao, but not fully recovered leh. Thinking if tmr shld see again. 

And now hubb's turn complaining that his throat is starting to hurt..... 

Damn.

Anyways, sat brought them to the hdb carpark opposite to play bicycles

Also his first attempt in riding a 2 wheels bicycle! 

Hahaha

Hubb is teaching him! 

And not bad! In less than an hour, he sorta know how to ride liao!! V good! 

Also wanted raythorous to learn, but by then, hubb was already too tired to teach. Lol

Not bad. Heavy rain outside but we managed to find this little haven to do our sports. 

Wheeeee! 

In the past got helper, she will cook the wkend bf for us.

Since she left, at the beginning, I can still act 一个zai and wake up earlier to prepare bf. 

But after that, throw towel liao. Just cannot wake up earlier anymore. 

So, will call for food delivery. 

Then somehow, the boys started to like baos and siewmais for bf.. So ordered lor. 

Some baos, some siewmais and what's not, all in almost $30. Like wth? Eat baos also can eat until $30???

So I buay gamwan lor. Then I remembered we used to buy those prepacked dimsums fr the supermarkets (esp during CB), so now why not?? 

And so, tada!! 

Just take out and steam! 

And u get to enjoy hot steamy dimsum! 

Cheong fun, siew mai, baos, fan choy

Lor mai kei and even kong bak pau!! 

Yea, much cheaper than ordering delivery 

Very happy

OK, I finally gave up. 

The laptop is really just too heavy to be carried to and fro.....  

Initially i bought this type of zipper case. 

 Lightweight and chic. Just have to hug it to and fro. 

But the problem came when I wanna buy things on the way home. No more hands to choose the items and make payment, since 1 hand needs to constantly hold on to the bag. 

So, evolved to using a tote bag. So tote bag is better in a way that it can sling on the shoulder, or on the arm. So can free my hands abit. 

But the problem with tote bag is the burden on my shoulder! Very the heavy lehhhh. 

And doesnt help that the capacity is quite small, so I have to carry a few bags - 1 main bag, 1 laptop bag, and 1 more bag for the gym barangs.

Omg max. 

So I finally gave up liao. 

Actually company has given us all a laptop backpack. Quite chic looking really. 

But wear office wear and carry a backpack looks really comical la, in my opinion. So I have not been using that backpack. 

Until now. 

Hahahahahaha. 

Actually not that cartoon and looks OK right?

Don't care liao. So long it spreads out the burden on my shoulders and frees my hands!!

And it makes me feel young, carrying a backpack!

Well, next step will be to consider seriously if there really is a need to lug the laptop to and fro.  

Mon Tues wed wio. Technically, I can leave the laptop in office, and bring home only on Wed right. No need to really bring home every single day right...

Just tot it will be damn sian if that day somehow I wanna wfh, but laptop is left in the office. Then cannot wfh..

Burnt another big hole in the pocket, just buying the winter wear for the upcoming Korea trip.

Ha, so Mon and Tues were PSLE oral days, so p1 to p5 no need to go school. 

And so, we went night safari on Monday night 

Tuesday was supposed to be on leave, but there was a mini company event and I was the organiser, so LL gotta go back show face abit lor.

Lucky got the approval to bring Mr Rayous with me. Hahahaha 

At the employee clubhouse, got some food and games to play

The first one doesn't perform well, so we requested to change. The 2nd one, attitude problem and gives bad vibes, so we requested to change again.

Now the 3rd one, finally not too bad liao! But alas......

 Went to the Natas fair ytd. 

Woah, so so so many pple! 

Initially tot it was the post covid effect, but reached there liao then remembered even before covid, the Natas situation was also damn bad. Ha. 

Yea, we booked a trip to Korea this year end!! 

Will again be travelling with Hong Thai. 3rd time with them liao. First time was to China, 2nd time was to Europe, and now Korea.

Wheeeeee!

And I really damn damn chuiz.

When payment time, then remembered my uob card has expired and i do not have the new card with me.

So never mind lor, pay by stand chart lor. 

Happily presented my card, just to be informed moments later, that the card was declined. 

Alamak! Even the stand chart card also expired liao!!!

Really walau eh leh!!!

See. 平时heck care, 到要用的时候就麻烦了。

That's the problem with me, really!

In the end used citi card. Lucky still can redeem the big luggage that hubb wanted. Initially we see the poster, all redeemed for citibank liao, that's y we wanted to use other cards. Who knows, they are able to give out vouchers for us to redeem at the shop on another day. 

Say earlier la, then can save the uob and stand chart card episodes! Ha

 

But still lose out on the mahattan card rebate lor. 

Anyways, I went home and activated all my new cards liao. 

Haaaaa! 

And really don't know how much transactions went on during the Natas fair xia. U can see so many pple collecting all the luggages... Then all the tour agencies and banks come and 抢摊. Lol

OK, Dec wb quite happening. Going genting followed by Korea.

 Woke up in the morning and received my team lead's message, wishing me happy 15yrs work anniversary.

15yrs, 3 dept, and 1 same employer.

I really can foresee myself retiring in my good old employer.

 Came across this claw machine with mooncakes soft toy inside. 

Saw the 伍仁 flavour and immediately told hubb to catch one for me! 

Tried a few times and hubb cmi... In the end, guess who caught it for me?

Mr Rayous!!! 

Wheeeee! 

Not only that, he also managed to catch 2 other toys! Haha! 

Got my surname printed on it leh! So special!!! 

Actually that time when we were travelling in TW, I was told by our tour guide, that such claw machines 都被动过手脚。the claws are weak and will not be able to catch anything, until after N tries, then the claws will get strong for that 1 time. 

So for that 1 time, sure can catch one. After that, the claws will turn weak again, until the next N tries passed. 

So, he told us to monitor and try only those machines which pple had failed many times, as it means that that 1 strong time will come anytime soon... And hopefully can tio that 1 strong time.

So I suspect, hubb's N failed attempts, gave rayous that 1x strong catch. That's y he managed to succeed. 

Kekekeke. 

OK la, don't doubt him OK. He really got the flair in these kind of claw machines.

Very nice person. Did not expect him to stay throughout the dinner, but he did. And was expecting that everybody be seated, while he takes his leave, but no, he was almost one of the very last person to leave the place.

Was expecting the car to pick him up at the premise. But no, he still had to walk to the nearby carpark. 

Was expecting large entourage and dozen of bodyguards, but no, the pple only accompanied him to the carpark, after that he and his wife and 1 other guy walked off, till they are out of our sight. 

Very humble and down to earth in my opinion.. But I think the security should up abit la.. He is afterall going to be our PM leh. Umm

Yup, enjoyed the dinner, though the food was not very nice. Ha.

 Happy National Day!!!! 

Woke up and saw my ex colleague's message, saying that she saw me on TV!! 

And yes, alamak us! 

We totally forgot that we will appear on TV on the national day morning news! 

Lucky still can watch the repeats on Me Watch (towards the end) Lollll

Was told that the 1pm news will also have. But nope, we were edited away. Darn. Haha

After that just stayed home nua the whole day!!
