Staycay at rasa sentosa to celeb Raythorous's bday! 

 

Invited fil and mil to come along. Lunched at vivo soup restaurant first. 

Before checking in to our room.. The checking in process took damn super long lor. Duh. 

Tada! 

After that, was to the beach! Got timing one OK, have to book your own time slot.. 

Honestly, I think I have never brought the boys to the beach before. 

Cuz it's really a messy affair!!!! 

Sun, beach, and sand.... Looks good on the surface only. 

实际上是damn messy xia. The sand sticking on to the wet body, 怎样洗都洗不掉。。。damn irritating...!

And it dirties everywhere u go if u don't manage to clear the sand properly.... 

Saw some parents letting really young children to play. 佩服them, can't understand how they can tahan the mess! Omg. Though it's really good sensory experience for the kids. 

These 2 boys sure had great fun. 

Yupp. 

After that went back washed up, cut cake, before dinner at rws Central hk restaurant.

Really la... One week office, one week home.. Really not that bad la. 

Bought new outfits, new slipper, new hair clips, new bottle, in preparation to return to office. Though havent pack them yet....

Haha, like first day of school, need to pack bag!

And I have been A-ing hubb to buy me a new bag to commemorate this new start... But not successful thus far.

Damn.

Anyways, whatever la!

Going staycay for next 2days to celeb didi's bday!!!

Now, we all know got green and yellow kiwi.... The yellow usually sweeter and more expensive, and the exterior less hairy than the green. 

That day at fairprice, chanced upon.... Red kiwi!!! 

Like seriously?! Red kiwi?? 

Looks legitimate.. From nz and zespri.. Stated that they have sweetness that taste like berries.. Sounds yummy! 

So, its alot smaller than a normal yellow kiwi... 

Looks a bit scary too.... Lol... 

The inside looks equally scary... Hahaha... 

Eekk.. 

The taste... Nothing v special la... Like normal kiwi.. 

And given the small size, still more worthwhile to eat the normal yellow kiwis.

Another proud invention!

Yaaaa... In celeb of the Earth Day, the school requested that we use recycled material to DIY games... 

Tada! 

Dice, tokens, all DIY one OK! 

Basically toss the color dice and see which color got tossed out. Then have to throw the token into the corresponding color hole. And though some of the holes may be of the same color, they bear different points. So the objective is to toss into the right color hole with the highest point. Continue tossing and the points are accumulated. Lost Yr turn then u toss into the wrong color hole.

Lol

All original idea OK!! Can learn colors and maths at the same time! 

And this is hubb's creation.. 

Simpler, just aim into the hole and earn the points indicated for that hole. Lol

 Proud of ourselves xia!!

Just when 家里没米了，and I super sian cuz no time (and also don't want) to go out and buy, this panda mart came to my rescue! 

 Wah.. Bo hao siao one OK!

Came within half hour! 

1st time usage still got $12 off! And delivery waived if above $40 of purchase.

 

And the prices also comparable to fairprice. 

Very happy!

Now talk about grocery delivery.. In the past, fairprice offers very good delivery service. Min spending of $49 (or something like that) and they deliver for free!

So that period of time, kept ordering and enjoying the delivery.

Then came covid, and they started to charge a service fee, regardless of amt spent. And, the min purchase to waive the delivery charge became higher at $79..

So now, rarely use liao. Unless really wanna buy many things, then use. Else, small items, how to chalk up to $79 leh??!

Now good. Got another panda mart option liao. Umm.. Maybe should also check out grab to see if there's anything good there. 

Wow, these delivery platforms.. Really 来势汹汹。。

Good good. Cut throats, then consumers can benefit.

Our modem broke down ytd!!!

早不坏，晚不坏，偏偏要看红星大奖的时候坏！

Really leh!

The boys watched whole day, bo taiji.

Just when I annouced that I wanna watch for that couple of hours and that they better let me, the damn modem had to break down and then I cannot connect to the TV. 

What the! 

And worse, no Internet means I cannot work liao! 

Called starhub, and they say they will try best to send someone on monday, else, it will be Tues. 

Bo bian, have to resort to taking leaves, cuz network down, cannot work! For real man! 

Lucky the starhub guy came this morning and fixed the issue. And I cancelled my leave and BAU.

Phew.

Else have to waste my leaves!  

Piang, wfh also got problem! 

And.. Its quite cfmed that we will be back on 3may.... 

And unlike what was previously conveyed, we will be rotating back to office on a weekly basis, instead of alternate days.

Wah ultimate sianz. 

5days straight OK! 

And.. It will be staggered lunch hour, either 12pm or 1pm. Wah. Looks like it's gonna be a very strict 1hr lunch time.... 

And how to go gym when the class also starts at either 12pm or 1pm? 

By the time reached the gym and get changed, 天亮了！

School excursion for Raythorous! 

All the way to tayo land in downtown east!! 

The school really not bad xia.. At a time like this still want to organise outings... If it were me, just lie low and BAU la.. Don't extra chu pattern... Anything happen, need to tah one leh.. 

Having lots of fun! Long long time since we last visited an indoor playground.

And concussed on the way back. Lolll

Sent him back to school, and I'm free for the 2nd half of the day liao!!!

Yes, as said, jcube is now our weekly haunt. Came across this 食间hotpot, finally got a chance to try it out!

I must say, it is better than 食立坊！the portion and taste, both also better.

Well, since rayous took up piano lesson at the school located at jurong east, jcube has become our weekly haunt! 

Yes, so, got to see this long forgotten ice skating rink.... 

And then.. Hubb and I realised, we apparently had never skated together before! 

Lol

And so.... Tada!! 

Took leave today to paktor abit... And to feel young again! Lolllll

I really not too bad leh, 宝刀未老!!! Lolll

Quite fun really. Wow.. Really don't know how many yrs since I last skated.. Maybe >10yrs liao..

And after that, went for a massage... Before feasting at Korean bbq restaurant.
