GenTing - KL - 23June2019

day 3 of our trip! going to KL today! kekekekek

checked out of our hotel and had a quick snack at this eatery along the way down to KL.

wanted to go for chocolate making session de, but the class was not on that day.

and then went to Batu Cave. but it was raining so we did not alight and visit. and then everybody got so tired that everybody fell asleep literally, except BIL. haa, nice pic!

next was to the butterfly and insect park

instead of buying honey here, i bought honey coffee and strawberry milk tea back. niceeeeee

and then we went for lunch and durian. yummmz

b4 we continued our journey to our accommodation in KL.

our accommodation in KL was an air b&b apartment that comes with a.......

infinity pool!!

shiok xia.. very nice and upclass apartment. our view in the apartment was super nice also. big unit that comes with 3.5 bedrooms. 0.5 cuz got one very small room meant for helper. the master room is super big though. clean and comfy!! 

happy me inside the house. hahahaha. i wouldnt mind staying in there, except that the kitchen is an open kitchen which is a no-no for me. 

and then while waiting for dinner to arrive (yeah, we ordered grab food in KL, LOL), we went to the pool for a quick dip. 

im not sure if this whole development is part hotel/part apartment for home stay. but if i were really a resident in the apartment, i wouldnt want my pool to be filled with so many ah mao ah kao xia. 

sooooo nice right... too bad cant enjoy much, cuz with the children and the water was quite cold. 

then back to our room for dinner. ordered food from shilin. haha. all the way in KL and still eating shilin. 

this is part of the master room. big right.

and then the open kitchen area. hubb and me bz trying to google where for breakfast tmr.

and then this little boy who refused to come back to sleep w us, but wants to sleep with the tricia jie jie instead. haaaa

OK, I guess the sick episode this time round is over.

Believe it or not. 

Friday rayous went back to school as his fever did not return liao. Like finally! 

But, it was Didi's turn to have the fever!!!!!!! 

Lucky it was only for 1day and now OK liao.

Let me just quickly recount the number of 'major' episodes this yr thus far. Major meaning high fever for a few days and/or cough/flu bad enough to had to see doc. 

The 1st one was rayous, sometime around cny.

Then Didi in June when we had to rush him to kkh. And then July rayous again. And there was one time when both fell sick (one after another) and we spent total $300over just on pedi fee, but cannot remb which time liao, too many times. Ha. 

And not to mention the many other small episodes which we self medicate and self cured. 

Yep. So, hopefully this episode is really over.

Tell me, how can I help them to boost their immunity systems?? Start them on all the vitamins and probiotics shit? Keep them away from the crowd?? 

Or what xia??? 

took urgent leave today to nua w the boy at home. 

not nua la, is to take care of him la. 

ytd hubb took leave, so today's my turn le lor.

actually can also leave him with MIL la. but scare MIL cannot cope w 2 boys and also not sure if she can administer the medicine properly or not. 

and this ah di, by right should let him go to school de, since he's ok. but then, without the kor kor, let him go there alone like quite sad, so whenever rayous is away from school, we also never bring didi to school. dont know doing didi good or harm xia.

and we r paying full fee, but only letting didi go on a half day basis. cuz hubb said rayous started full day only around 3yo, so, to be fair, we shld not let didi go full day so soon. 

but then during rayous's time, the program was tailored to be a 3hr program. but now, didi's program is tailored to be full-day program. by shortening it to half day on our own accord, really dont know doing him any harm or not. every day missing 2nd part of the learning in school. umm.. but if put him full day, scare he falls sick frequently also. 

aiyah... really struggle la. 

anyway, this children falling sick thing........ is 

JUST REALLY SIANNNNNNNN 

really lucky still got MIL as 'support unit'. i really wonder what happens to those with no one to help take care, but only the infant care/childcare. every time the child falls sick, have to take leaves ah? how many leaves are there to take xia??? and got understanding bosses and colleagues still ok. else, really struggle one lehh. always urgent leaves and urgent leaves and urgent leaves. 

and after all the toil at home and u r finally back to work, only to find that the load of shit at work hasnt been cleared, but has been piling and just waiting to haunt u when ur back. 

OMGGG

see? these are the problems which govt does not see. ask us to give birth give birth and give birth. but when there are these kind of struggles, who to help???

 1 child also 6days childcare leaves. 10 children also 6days childcare leaves. tell me la, how like that?? if each 1 of them takes turn to fall sick, whole yr no need to work liao!! 

ive always been an advocate of having more children. 

but this thing of children frequently falling sick and not having enough support at work is really detering us, or at least me!

So Didi fell sick on 1june..

And now 1july, rayous fell sick. 

Actually he's been having fever on and off since back from genting. 

But he was totally OK over the weekend. 

Until Sunday night when he felt feverish again..

Then this morning vomitted a few times and we told mil to bring him to the pedi...

Another $170 gone.

Woot. 

Really super siann when the children fell sick. 

Like never ending one lor. 

One after another..

Sunday still brought them out to play at this indoor cassia seed playground. Wondered if rayous caught the bug there. 

Now just hope Didi won't catch it.

LasT Day of JunE

woohoo! 

last day of june! 

1st half of the year's gone! 

now june was an hectic month. 

1st june started with a fathers' day celebration at the school with the superhero theme. 

to prepare for it, i actually went online to order the outfits ok! 

initially i had wanted to order those full costume. literally full bat-man costume. but hubb was saying what if the delivery did not arrive in time, and it really is an one-off outfit, cuz we cannot be wearing them on normal days.

after considering his advice, i went ahead to order just the t-shirts with the logo print. but to make it more fun (rather than just plain old t-shirts..), i also ordered the capes. 

 the capes did arrive in time, but as per hubb's warning, the t-shirts did not arrive in-time. super sad laaaaaa.

well, with the cape, we can still go to the party la... but remember, this ah di fell ill????

yeahhh, and so, we forgo the party altogether!! diaooooo...

see, sometimes, really no need to plan in advance! things will happen and thwart the plans!!!

and so, my capes.... wasted liao... until there is a next superhero occasions. haa

and the t-shirts.... nvm.. can keep for new year.. hahaa. really lucky never buy the super kua-zhang full suits. else, really wasted to the super max liao.

yep, and june, many other happenings also! 

important decisions materialised, important documents signed, and we went on a little family trip to msia.... 

coming next half of the yr... surely more exciting and bz.. kind of unplanned for... but well... no choice now liaooo..

but will just go with the flow yea.

day 2 of our genting trip! 

the 1st thing we went back to the hotel last night, was to find out if there is any stroller for rental!!!! 

lucky for us..... there is!! so we chop chop rented one first.

woohoo!

and then went for dim sum breakfast. yum!!!

and then a walk around the indoors.

then we parted ways. sis and family went on the 1-day trip. i took the folks to go shopping. while this hubb........ happily went to the casino, leaving me alone with the 2 folks and 2 kiddos! really horrrr!

we rented another stroller, and the 2 boys fell asleep on the strollers, so can walk around peacefully with the folks for awhile. after that, dad said he'd sit somewhere with the sleeping children so that i can go shop with mum. but worried that he would not be able to handle them when they woke up, i only left rayous with him, while pushing raythorous along. 

and who knows, after that, we took a looooong time to come back and meet dad. cuz, we lost our way! the whole place was sooo soooooo big la. have to walk super far back, then can go back to where we parted. lucky this ah ma still ok to walk. haha.

and when we finally found dad and rayous, rayous was well awake liao. lucky he did not throw tantrum and gave dad a hard time. LOL.

so we went for lunch after that

really lucky got the strollers... else dont know how xia..... 

and finally this hubb came back to meet us. tada! bumped into batman!! LOL

after that, the kids and mum and i went back to the hotel room to rest and nap.

look at these 2 boys... pattern alot!! 

and the men... went gambling again!!!

before we finally gather again for dinner. woot!

and then dessert time after that... 

and apparently, the kids are not fascinated by the super big indoor amusement park. they did not say they want to ride on any of them. i think they are still too young and too overwhelmed with all the scary rides and lightings. instead, they got super happy with these kind of, literally, kiddy rides!

yup, so that were our 2 days in genting. the transformation is really great. the whole indoor has changed sooo soooo much. the rides are so much more impressive and the mall, woo, u just really got to see for yourself. like i said, it was soooo big, that we got lost inside. soooo many shops and restaurants and etc etc etc.... soo different from what it used to be. 

of cuz, now also very much more crowded than what it used to be. 

 i once tot that genting will be a dying place, cuz nobody goes there anymore. but now, i cant say so anymore. the revamp is just impressive. and will be better so once the outdoors are ready. 

and if this revamp were to take place earlier, probably the five-star tour agency wouldnt have closed down liao.... and we wouldnt have became victims to the closing down....... really.....

somtimes, really just a timing issue....
