MilK CrunCh... AgAin!

yes, this is how desperate im now.... 

on this supplement which is supposed to help increase milk flow. and im drinking papaya fish soup EVERYDAY. 

grr. 

yeah, supply cannot meet demand liao. 

i think im left with only 4 packets of frozen milk. if i still dont produce enough, and the frozen milk runs out, then that's it. gotta start didi on formula liao. 

not that there's anything wrong w using formula. but then.... i really wish he can have at least 6mths of exclusive breastmilk, just like rayous. 

i remembered having the same milk crunch with rayous, but it wasnt that bad until i had to resort to supplement. 

i guess it all boils down to complacency again.

haii. 

sometimes, pple just dont learn! 

i should have known better that somehow the supply will slow down when back to work (likely due to lack of sleep and stress!!) dont know y i still dont wanna save more during maternity. i guess i was juz too tired and lazy to keep pumping la. so just let him latch as and when and din really bother to save up alot. 

and i was told 2nd time will produce much more milk than the 1st time... so..... yah..... 

and most of the pple i know pump 4x a day.. while i only pump 3x a day. maybe i really should pump more frequently.. but if not full, pump also nothing much comes out right.. waste time and sore also lehh... keep pumping... 

ok. anyway, i think the fish soup and supplement do help abit. and im pumping longer session (instead of more session). hopefully can salvage the situation ba. 

and maybe i should just eat more?? hahaha!

ok, so still working on my bday. wanted to take leave but really too many things on hand to take liao. so in the end went back to work and took the early off at 4.30pm instead (yeah, entitled to 1 early off per month...) 

为什么我总是放不下????? why cant i just f**k care, drop and gooooo??!

anyway, after work wanted to go for a good massage... but in the end did not too... 

haii.. 

in the end, simple dinner at hao cai popiah...

and then back home to cut cake

i think as u grow older, bday really not such a big deal liao. used to look forward, but now, it's just like any other day. especially after becoming a mum. honestly, bday should be a celebration for the mum as well. N yrs ago, she had gone thru the labour to give birth to u ok! 

anyway, happy bday to me!

and at the annual 喊标 activity. 

we managed to 标 the 2 packets of rice as planned, though over our budget. but it's ok la. jiak heng heng ok!

hopefully eat liao all the good good huat huat things will come.

Just realised I did took pics of the food we had at sea and blue where we celebrated our 3rd wedding anni..

Tada! The must have sashimi and oysters! Don't call it an international buffet if it doesn't serve either of this.

And then they also got this Korean station whereby the meat are bbq at request.

Beef and dimsum. Haha. 中西合并。

And crabs! Got the jap long legged crabs also.. but we too full to eat any liao.

Not too bad for a restaurant standard, though the staff can be a bit more attentive.

And as said... 我对buffet是又爱又恨。

 Actually 恨more la. Cuz soo many things to eat, yet the tummy space is limited. Many things want to eat but really too full liao. 硬塞,in the end 又很guilty. 

Haii.

还是少吃的好。

3rd Anniversary

Our 3rd yr wedding anniversary!

Had dinner at this buffet restaurant sea & blue at mbs.

The food is not bad, wide variety. Besides the must have sashimi and oysters, they also have crabs!!!!! 

But 1 thing I really hate abt buffet is the 无能为力..... u really really wanna eat some more... yet.. already too full and too guilty to put in anything more! 

Duh. 

And buffet really cannot eat too often.  明明就饱了,yet still want to 塞 some more.  Super guilty after eating la!

After dinner, we went reminiscent at our wedding venue. Hahaha.  So romantic right. Lol.

  

Yeah. And then back home to our 两个宝。

Nothing extravaganz, just a simple celebration.

人是很脆弱的。这个我懂。

have a colleague who suffered a stroke, had a brain operation, and now coma in the hospital.

no direct working relationship w her, but算是有说话的.

she attended my wedding and i remb she was one of the guests who bao the biggest angbow. and she was also the very rare few, who wrote a card as well. 

occasionally will sit and lunch w her in the pantry, when i tabao food back to office to lunch. sometimes i will be there first, sometimes she will be there first. 从来没约好，只是碰到就坐同桌吃。

每说不到一两句，她就会叹一次气. then she will briefly lament abt how tough and political the pple are.. 

work aside, i remb her telling me she gave birth at a young age.. now one of her gal is a teacher, while the other is still studying.. then weekends they will go church... like to go cycling as well. and then she told me she's kidda worried that her gal still has no suitor and she will be sitting down w the husband to talk to the gal.. and then she has started to eat healthily cuz her health had not been too good recently... 

a typical hongkonger, talks v loud and always appear to be v stress. not good at dressing up, the 1st time i saw her, i tot which auntie is that..never expected that she actually holds quite a high rank.

i guess she's really one difficult person to work with. long heard about it, and evident from the constant changing of both her superiors and subordinates. 

and on the last day of work before i start my maternity, she was the last person left in the office and she was the last person i spoke to before i start my 4mths of leave. as usual, as always, she was working late. 

saw her at the lift when i was back to work after the 4mths. only acknowledged her and did not talk to her cuz i was talking to someone else. 

who knows, a few days later, received news that she fell at home, had a stroke and now coma in hospital. 

haii. 

life is really unpredictable. 

it's just so scary. 

这一秒好好的，下一秒可能就..........

let's all just not be too hard on ourselves. 

learn to love and be generous with it. 

爱要及时，不要吝啬.

really hope she will get well soon.

haha, honestly, i was expecting this yr's national day to be a sad one, cuz it's soooo damn close to the end of my maternity leaves. i remembered looking at the calendar before i went on leaves, and secretly saying to myself that by ND, i should be quite sad liao. haha.

but, ok la. ND not as sad as i tot. cuz hubb brought us to staycation!

as said, since cannot travel overseas, so money used on staycationing le lor.

sorry, never bring didi along, cuz dont think the loud firework is suitable for him. so, ND was also the first night raythorous was away from me. ok, being 2nd time, it's definitely less emo than the 1st time when rayous was away from me. hahahah.

at the balcony of our room, can see the pool right outside our room. the pool is small and nothing impressive, but... it's a very 'special' pool for me. will explain later.

as expected, the hotel food are freaking and unreasonably expensive. they are charging like what, $10 for a nissin cup noodle, and $12 for an in-room dining coke?? that kind of crap pricing ok! so, i dont know about u, but i will definitely not pay such unreasonable high price. what nasi lemak, laksa, chicken rice.... these things are soo affordable at hawker centres, so it will really be stupid if we were to eat these at the hotel.

and so, we ordered steak and ribs. at least, these things are about equally expensive if we were to eat outside..

the steak, $60+. yummy! but the rice.... very 'indian' style.. haha

and the ribs, $50+. the meat abit tough though..

i tot the butter was quite special. haha

the boy is sure enjoying!

and he gets to collect a scoop of ice-cream daily! the pass is still with us, wondering if we can still go and collect ice-cream, even though we r not staying there anymore. haha.

the stay also entitled us access to the roof-top where free-flow drinks are served..

yes, he was really disturbed by the loud cannons firing..

after that, we went to collect his ice-cream and went back to our room to rest awhile, before returning to the roof-top for the fireworks.

think the boy was too disturbed previously liao, that he kept asking us to leave the roof-top when we returned for the fireworks.. 

and i suspected he kind of psychoed himself to sleep while waiting for the fireworks.. haha.

and the little boy really slept throughout the fireworks! if u can just feel how tight he was holding on to me. dont know is real sleep or forced sleep.

after firework, we went chill at the bar. the boy is all happy again!

and though it was quite rush, we still went for a quick swim in the pool, b4 having to check out at 12noon. 

this pool is just a small rectangular pool, but it's really special, becuz at 1 corner of my office, can look out to see this pool. whenever i go to that corner to collect print-outs or scan/fax stuff, i will look at this pool and really envy those pple swimming at that hour while im stuck in the cold office.. 

so, very happy that i also got a chance to swim in there. next time look out to this pool, wont be so sore liao. will remember swimming there w hubb and boy. kekeke. 

and the pool is really dirty inside la. got alot of dark particles... so bad so that i dont even wanna open my mouth underneath the water.. eiyer.. 

yup, so that's our 1 night staycation on national day.
