TaiWan Trip Day 5 - 18 ApRiL 2018

day 5 of our taiwan trip! still at the very cold cingjing.. but lucky it was quite sunny that day, so still bearable. phew. 

high up in the mountain, away from the city... so, dont expect too much for breakfast. simple affair.

and then our 1st destination for the day... cingjing farm!

again, ive been to tw many times, but never to cingjing. so this time, i also made it a point to visit cingjing..

actually nothing much la. just steep slopes where the sheep can roam freely and come near to u.. 

and next was to carton king.. where everything inside are made of cardboards.. 

and then to swiss garden... honestly, this really is the worse place for the whole trip. literally NOTHING inside. was expecting to see many many beautiful flowers, but... no lor. we just took a walk, sat at the cafe to rest and drink, and that's abt it.. 

at 7-11... love their 7-11.. so many things to see buy and eat. haha. 

and then to a nearby minsu to see sakura. 

apparently some of the last sakura for the season liao. 

and then to the old england manor. it's a hotel actually, and also one of the sight-seeing spot. somewhat like MBS. also should be one of the most expensive accomodation in cingjing ba. 

yep, if u notice the temperature reader at the back... it was 16.2 degree!!

yep, so that sums up our 2 days in cingjing. next will be back to taipei liao. hohoho.

and yeah, my little boy finally had his 1st hair-cut 'unassisted'. 'unassisted' as in he did not need to sit on our lap anymore! and really no more struggling liao! hahahaha

still remembered the times when he was younger and there was just no way that we could make him cut his hair at the salon.. and we had to resort to cutting his hair ourselves...

LOL 

very happy that my little boy is really growing up!!

yeah, and now.. didi's turn..

hopefully we wont have to go thru the same ordeal with didi.... 

honestly, i think didi is very much more 'zai' and steady than rayous. 

 cutting nails is an example. when rayous was younger, it was vvvv difficult to cut his nails. he will struggle, push away, hold his fingers into a fist etc etc. the only time i could cut his nails was when he was fast asleep. and i mean fast asleep. if he's not that deep into sleeping, he will still struggle and hide his hands away. 

but for didi, no such issue, at least so far. i just propped him in front, hold his hand, and cut. that's it.

yep. 

anyway, i guess life will get easier as both boys grow older. it should. 

yeah. looking forward to better days.

a visit to gardens by the bay... 

been there before, but never to the payable domes.. super crowded laaaaa....

2 domes to enter, flower dome or cloud forest.. i wanted to go to the flower dome, but this hubb insisted on the cloud forest... duh..

honestly, really nothing much inside...... and along the way, no benches to let pple sit/rest.... no stalls to sell food nor drinks..... no water cooler either.... seriously not very kids and old pple friendly... once u entered and take the lift to the top, be prepared to walk almost non-stop (the only place where u can sit was a small area to watch a short 5min video, or the toilet bowls)  for at least 45mins... 

then dinner at majestic bay, a restaurant inside gardens by the bay..

yeah, i definitely will not visit again. at least not the same dome. shall give the other dome a chance.... next time! 

Carrying this raythorous without a carrier...

Feeling the exact same kind of pain and stress on the lower back as when I was preggy.

Good thing is, this pain will go away after I rest and I can always pass to someone else to carry. 

Unlike during preggy, no one can help me.. and the pain will not go away, at least not as easily. 

Am still of the opinion that being preggy sucks.

Soooo glad to be non-preggy.

This rayous Kenna fever, cough and flu again.

Tonight supposed to bring didi home, but Cuz scare spread to didi, so never bring him home liao.

Yeah. Wanted to tear the cling wrap, but tore my finger instead.

And all Cuz I wanted to cook for the kids. 

做了妈妈真的才知道。

In the past, I always cannot understand y mum would insist on cooking when we can easily tabao from outside. I will always tell her to just save the trouble and just tabao, 干净利落。

Now... aren't I doing the same thing that I told mum not to do??

Well.. just can't bear the kids eating the food from outside la, full of salt sugar oil........

I really don't mind cooking for the kids and actually I love to do so.  But what's frustrating and upset is, after all the hard work, the boys don't wanna eat!! 

And the best thing is when u feed them healthy home cooked food, they don't want. But when u give them junk food like ice cream, cakes, 他们就大口大口吃。really horrrrrrrr.

And this rayous, really getting more and more choosy and doesn't like to eat veg. Sometimes even have to prepare milo or juice etc to entice him - 两口饭then can 一口水.. how wrong man!  

OK la, to be fair, not everytime that they reject la. Sometimes they will also eat heartily and I even get praises from this rayous that the food is nice. Haha. 

Anyway, I shall learn to take it easy. No need to get all hyped up and upset and have to literally 求them to eat! When they are hungry, they will naturally eat! 

OK chill!!

it's calvin's wedding day - 2 june 2018. 

calvin is hubb's cousin. one of the most sensible, mature, SNAG that i've met. really happy to see him tie the knot today. 

and also the 1st wedding that we attended as a whole family.
