abt a yr or two back, i've got this idea to supplement my savings by mandatorily saving a dollar day. though by saving this way, 1 yr can only save $365.. but it's still additional savings right.. and no stress de.. a dollar a day is well affordable, isint it?

but somehow along the way, i cant keep up with a dollar a day. it eventually became as and when i have the dollar coin, i will juz save it.

and finally.. it's time to harvest!!!!

it's soooo full and heavy that it can take in no more coins!

and the next thing to do with these coins are.... to deposit them!!! yay!!

i dont know where else do these coin deposit machines exist.. but i only come across it in Plaza Sing. it's right at the corner of the auto-lobby but i've never seen anybody using it..am always curious abt this machine and now finally got a chance to use it.. kekekkeke

i was quite worried initially, cuz apparently, the coins will NOT be refunded if u decided not to proceed with the deposit. i was soo afraid it ate my money, but the figure is different from what i deposited.. if such things happen, i really dont know who to go to liao, since i have no proof of how much i really deposited. get wad i mean?

but luckily, the machine is real good and no such mistake!

cool cool machine!!! but for each piece of coin, there is a fee of $0.0075 (unless u are depositing to a kid's a/c) yep. so in total, i got to pay a fee of $6+.

it's really a good and 'stress-less' way to save. im starting on my 2nd round now. hopefully it will not be long before it's full again!!! lol~

after depositing my coins, we went to makan at this new korean restaurant in Plaza sing B2. realised there are many new restaurants in PS.

korean food.. one of my fave.. esp korean bbq... yummmmm!!!

hubb's kimchi fried rice... yummmyyy!!!

and my chicken bbq on stone pan...

sizzzzzzzzlinggggg.. haha, the wordings on the tee of the guy behind me is quite funny eh??

ehhh, it's quite nice actually.... but... it's not really what im expecting. i mean the presentation was different from the pics on the menu and sorta gave me a wrong impression. the above can also be eaten from those food courts korean food stall, rite? in anycase, the above costed abt $38... quite steep eh..

next i want to try Nando.. also at PS..

the kites nowadays are really different!!!! biggg and bling bling de. stunned lahh!!

my cam and tripod can work!!! the effects not too bad eh?? :)

it's not a bad place to rest and relax eh. soo windy.. one of these days must try go there fly kites.

there are many biz opportunities there.. i wonder why no one action.. for eg, selling trolley food, gifts, professional photo-takings etc.. mmm.. brainy, arent i?

back to work tmr. and march's starting. march will be a long month with the most nbr of working days. gambatte everyone!!!

i've been trying very very very hard to prove that women can be good drivers too. but obviously.. i contribute to the statistics that cause pple (men esp) to come to the conclusion that women are lousy drivers. 

yeah... i should have known earlier.. given the number of failed driving tests.... booHOOOOOO!!!

the stress at work is coming back again.. not as bad as it used to be.. but it's coming back..

as said, one will be going on maternity soon. and another one will be away on project until further notice. so basically, the remaining 4 of us will have to cover the work of what used to be covered by all 6 of us.

and... boss sent an email.. saying during this period, at any one time, only 1 person can go on leave.

really wtf.. y do i feel like im being penalised again???

and.. initially i was quite ok.. until someone hi-lighted the unfairness - the person who goes on proj gets to meet the big bosses up there, get to discuss, talk, show face, and eventually get the credit when the proj ends, while the rest of us have to cover her work but gets nothing

some truth in that, isnt it?

i knoe it's selfish of me to think that way, but somehow, i juz cant stop thinking that way after being hi-lighted.

grrrrrr.. all these are simply making me feel sooooo unbalance!!!

and this mon and tues, mr mc king will be on leave (again). i bet he'll be on mc on wed and thurs. trust me.

can boss wake up and do something about this????????

or maybe.... if i cant beat them.. i should just join them????

The New Mall - NEX

went to the new mall NEX at serangoon today. heard the size is comparable to vivo. intially i tot vivo is bigger, but after walking for awhile, i will think the overall floor area for nex is bigger. think mainly cuz nex has got more storeys than vivo, so though the land area may be smaller, the total floor area is still bigger.

nowadays the malls are like getting bigger and bigger huh..

anyway, we tried out fish therapy at the new mall today! lol. 30mins for $15/pax. so, it's $0.50/min. real good money huh!

wash legs first....

it's kidda scary initially cuz the fishes will all cheong to ur legs when u put in... and it's quite ticklish...

looks scary and disgusting rite??

but after awhile, it's actually quite ok. like small ants biting... then feels abit like small electric current going thru... quite interesting.. 

quite a good experience.. and at the end of it.. the legs do feel smoother and whiter.. kekekek.. i dont mind doing it again!

apparently, if im not wrong, the fishes actually eat up the dead skin around the legs. so.. if they can eat the dead skin around the legs.. why cant they eat the dead skin on the face????

mmm.. this is a geninue question. is it not possible???

not the 1st time.. previously, i was being offered a seat as well by a guy. i took it as he saw me wearing super high heels and wasnt standing steadily, hence, gentlemanly, goodwill-ly tried to offer me his seat.

but this time round, it was an uncle.. with white hair..

i seriously cannot think of any other reasons y he wanna offer me his seat..... except for the fact that he thought i was..... P.R.E.G.N.A.N.T.

can someone tell me wad to do if there is a mc king in ur team?

i suppose in a working environment, the top 3 types of pests are:

• backstabbers/hypocrites
•  gossipers
•  mc kings and queens

and now, let me rant on the 3rd kind of pest!!

let's juz name that particular person X for the purpose of easy and annoymous ranting here.

i seriously think X only worked for 9months the whole of last year.
know wad? we are entitled to 30days mc per year and X maxed that 30days last year!!

30 working days on mc = 1.5 calender month

with the addition of public hols and annual leaves, im quite positive that X really only worked 9mths last yr.

and X's fav pattern is to take a few days leave and top it up with at least 2days mc.
eve of ny eve X was on mc. then ytd on urgent leave. today on mc. and tmr also mc.

yes. that's the pattern EVERYTIME. totally predictable and expected.

yay! i finally have my internet access back!

thanks hubb for the 1-hr q at starhub + the 1-hr enquiry cum signing-up process at starhub + the assistance in the easy-but-not-so-easy set-up at home.

'easy-but-not-so-easy' cuz it was supposed to be easy, but it turned out to be sooo time-consuming cuz apparently, the starhub person did not tell us that we have to visit a website before we can have it properly set-up. it was only when hubb called his bro for help and then he knew how to go about it! diao.. how much time and efforted wasted!

in anycase, now the wireless is on.. but the bad news is... i cant surf from my room!!! apparently, the connection is there anywhere within 10m from the modem... but there's no connectivity in my room, which is at the farthest end in the flat! diaooooooo

cant let this happen... i paid like additional 70+ bucks to have it wireless... and another 70+ bucks for the dvd-reader to read the darn dvd that is crucial in the set-up process (yah.. there's no cd/dvd reader in my netbook.. fine..).. no point if i cant surf in my room and gonna be constraint juz like in the past.
