Anyways, lunched out today and tried out this cutie bear halal hotpot - kumachan onsen - in orchard central

The soup are made into bear shapes. So as it boils, the bear will slowly melt into the soup... 

Taste is okay, but as the bear melts, the soup became very concentrated that we had to ask for hot water to dilute it. And..... though it was lunch time, there was no customer in the restaurant at all! Surprising, cuz I tot these kind of restaurants shld be quite popular, but no, nobody at all!

Towards 3/4 of our meal, then a mum with 2 kids came in. Other than that, really no patron leh. Jialek.

And.. I think i tio scammed again.

Went bought things from some random fb advertisement again.

This time round, no need to pay upfront, but to pay COD. So I tot ok lor, if the goods arrive then I pay lor. If dont arrive, also no loss.  No email, no text, nothing to follow up. Then I also forgotten abt it liao.

Who knows, today someone texted me to say they wb making a delivery and asked me to pay.

Fine lor. I honored and did a paynow. Goods was really delivered, but again.... 货不对版...

totally off designs and sizes.

And, there is basically no record of what I had purchased, and whom I purchased from.

2025... again, was a very fast yr. like zoomed, and gone. 

couple of happy and unhappy things. 

most happy thing would probably be the bye bye of some toxic pple at work. yup. very good clearance. 

unhappy de, would probably be knowing the passing of ian chow... haiz. still very sad... and only got to know it when WL informed me when she saw the posting on her FB. did not even get to send him off. did not even know what happened to him. haiz. 

also, a couple of 'sudden death'... of wendy's father, and also mum's old time neighbour. 

人生就真的是这么无常的...很可怕... 

some other sian things, will be the closure of the gym outlet that i had been going to. sian max.

at work, also started to feel some stress from upstairs. very long did not feel these kind of stress liao, but 2025... came back. yah. need to 拜拜more. but i also managed to siam many nonsenses this yr. for that, very happy. wheeeeee

then travelled here and there... beijing, xian, taipei, guangzhou, jb, bintan, batam... yay! Also staycay a couple of times. Yayyay.

Oh. And.....something reached a new new high..... my..... weight.... omg. Speechless.

Oh oh. And attended many concerts... lady gaga, William so, grasshopper, jacky cheung. Woah.

 ahha, i realised i did not blog on final day of our gz trip! whahwahah

yeah, generally, i did not like gz. very different from my expectations. 

the air is very polluted, it's like u can smell pple smoking everywhere u go. the pple are generally rude and loud and not friendly. 99% of the toilets are squat bowls, rarely have sit de. 

surprisingly, cantonese is not widely spoken there also...... weird.

food also so so only......  

yeah, overall, not as good as i expected it to be. next, will try out sichuan liao! 

hopefully it will be good!

Then back to room to pack stuff, b4 heading out again. Did some more shopping, and managed to get all the boys tees and pants for cny. Wahahahahaha. Really v affordable pricing leh! Happyyy!

Then to arcade to play again. Bruh

Lunchie. Happy w the food. Actually I always quite like Indon food de. So past few days really happy eating. Omg. 

Though price is low, the food portion is also small. For eg, claypot tofu, inside only a few pieces of tofu. Or ayam penyat, but the ayam very small piece only. But the price is really not expensive lah. So, order alot also ok. Haha.

And the serving.... still as slow as ever..... aiiiii

A comparison w 2012 的我!! Whahahahahahaha.. 没有变到leh. Wahahahahahhaahahh!!

Yay, so that's our last trip for 2025, and yet also our first trip for 2026! 

Hahahaahha.

Just nice 2jan is a Friday, school hasn't start for the boys, and we managed to take leaves. 凑成了一个小long wkend, so last min squeeze in this mini trip.

Contemplated going bkk, hk, Vietnam. But in the end, just batam to save the hassle. 

Also contemplated JB.. but scare jam like siao... 

Actually, if not for the rather expensive ferry fee, go batam also quite fun de. Cheap and good really.

After that late lunch/early dinner

Won many tickets but not much use leh, cuz really nothing good to redeem. All the boliao stuff only... bruh

And one of the most interesting machine.... live fish scooping! And there are water and bags at the side which u can really pack and bring the fish home. Woahh 

And.... and..... and....open casino!!

Gambling but yet not exactly gambling. Cuz u play using tokens, and the winnings are also in tokens which CANNOT be exchanged back to cash. The tokens can only be used to redeem products.
