the CB period is coming to an end????!

and previously it was still one whole month of may ahead. now... may's over???? kaoz... where did all the time go xia????? why soooo fast????!!

well.... 丑媳妇终须见家翁...... we cant be in the CB forever and nothing moves ya???

and so, in preparation of the CB period......... masks for the boys.

abit of a struggle. dont know to send them back to school so fast or not. go, scare they kenna virus. but dont go, see them stay at home waste time also very siannn. really not productive for them to stay home and just screen time!

come 2june, rayous can go back 1st. then 8june, raythorous can go back too. ummm... i guess shall wait till 8june then both go back together ba. 

as for me, i should still be wfh at the mmt..... 

alamak.... i think now it's me who cant bear to be separated from the boys. though i think they will also KBKB when return to school. oppps. 

this really is a very special period. must cherish. 

yes, will really really miss this period.

since we had abit of leftovers from the last steamboat session, the only right thing to do, is to have another steamboat session to finish the leftovers ya!! 

and so, yes! our 2nd steamboat @ home! 

this time 'more prepared' than the previous time liao. previous time abit galan gabok... 

this time round, even bought the '炸响铃'! wooah! was actively searching for the mala haidilao paste, but all sold out. lucky still managed to get this. haha

this time everything prepare nicely before we start. and yes, soft drinks ready!!!

and really quite happy and amazed with this 不粘锅.. really 不粘 leh! impressive!

and yes, this cb period.... really putting on weight. the weight lost from going to the gym, apparently slowly creeping back liao.

oh yeah.

if u know me well, u should know steamboat is one of my favvvvvve. 

every once in a while, i will need to have a steamboat fix. 

so during this whole CB thingie, the most upsetting thing is.... no more steamboat!! 

no more bbt still can switch to other drinks... 

but no more steamboat, means no more steamboat la, what substitute can there be???

i was totally missing my hai xian lao... beauty in the pot etc etc.... 

until jasmine suddenly texted us to say that the delivery from BITP is really good.

uh-huh, so can order steamboat delivery! 

but then i realised that despite loving steamboat, i dont even have a steamboat pot at home! 

like seriously?!

yes, seriously. i have always contemplated buying a steamboat pot, but in the end did not, cuz steamboat at home is such a hassle la. and so many things to buy and have to clean up like mad shit. pls just go to a restaurant and eat la! 

so, again, all thanks to this COVID19, another great buy from qoo10!!

but then after checking out the various steamboat delivery prices, i realised that it's really not worth it. i honestly think that i can buy the same kind of liao at the supermarket with a much lower price.

ok la, to be fair, the soup really cannot be compared to the restaurants' la. really missing the BITP collagen and mala soup... OMG! 

but ok la, still managed to satiate the craving la.

and i complained to the seller on some small little defects on the pot. and after my persistence, the seller decided to refund me 50% to shut me up.

although i smell bad now. and probably will die of thirst later.

well, if you realised, i havent been complaining much about this CB period..

cuz in fact, im quite enjoying it!

can sleep late, no need to wake up early, no need to mad rush, can be with the children more often.......

why not??

if resume normal, dont know can take it or not.

like every day i will ask rayous '今天开心吗'. and his reply will always be '开心呀，因为mummy在家'......

just like before things got so bad, a colleague was saying that when we go coffeeshop, we are expected to stay 1m away from each other. how is that possible???!

and, work from home with the whole damn desktop shifted home.. how is that possible?

and guys, cherish this while it lasts. of cuz, not that i hope that this virus thing will last, but u guys know what i mean. 

very soon, things will resume and life will be back to normal and u guys will start missing this period again.

yes, ever since MIL cannot help me take care of the children, we have no time to do brick & motar shopping, so had resorted to online shopping. 

and honestly, u can all find all sorts of nonsense online! 要买什么都有!!

and this time round, all thanks to the COVID19, i went onlne to buy this hair clipper set (orange comb not included, but there was another scissor that came with it, but forgot to capture that).

actually every time bring the boys for hair cut, i'd been observing how the hairdresser cut their hair. actually looks really easy, just shave shave shave... but i also very scared, cuz i know if not done properly, will have holes here and there. and also very scare if will cut their skin or not.. if not for this COVID19, i prob still will not buy the clipper. thats y i say, all thanks to the COVID19!

tada! target the older one first. LOL. guinea pig!!

initially still ok. but halfway thru started to get cranky... guess due to too hot, sweaty and itchy. LOL 

and next, the small one. small one initially rejected the idea. but i guess after seeing the kor kor did it, he was ok too. thats y must always target the older one first. kekekekek.

actually, i had always wanted them to grow those mushroom hairstyle.... really cute la!! but dont know isit their hair nature, like not suitable to grow that kind of hairstyle leh. their hair all stucking out de, not the smooth smooth guai guai type... once long, will become all bushy and like one flurry of ball, just like the papa's hair. 

and their hair grow really fast. and i buay tahan when their hair are long, all bushy and in a mess! so usually will cut once a month. most of the time will bring them to this express cut salon at jurong point. each boy $10 bucks. so, it'll be $20 for both boys per visit. 

this clipper thing costs only $26.40, so, cut 1 more time for them, can recoup the cost liao!!

though it's really a mess after the haircuts! 

but good thing i bought this. cuz after that, came the CB period and salons are also closed!! heng ahhhhh!!! else they can really become rockers liao! 

ok, now, their hair are long again. almost time for the 2nd time haircut liao.. 

this time round sure nicer than the previous time yea! must ensure better experience too.. dont be like the first time, super messy! 

and, aiming the papa's head soon too!
