MelBouRnE DaY 2 - 12 ApriL 2019

day 2 of our melbourne trip 

breakfast at the hotel 

and some pic takings before we changed hotel. 

and then collected the car, and off to our 2nd hotel in melbourne.. 

tada! big room. no choice... need big spaces when travelling w 2 kids.... else, it'll be super cram and everyone will go bonkers...

our car in melbourne. and the traffic in melbourne is also quite bad. lots of traffic lights, jam etc.. 

did not plan much activity on the 2nd day. mainly was to do some sight seeing and a visit to their duty-free outlet mall only.

and our dinner that night, at a food court in the mall. food are really expensive there. one bowl of rice like that was about aud20. so, for 3 bowls, it was aud60 already. hello? aud60 for a meal in foodcourt? seriously!! and the chap chai peng there is also horribly expensive. rice + 2 sides costs abt aud12. aud12 ok! i think in sg, regardless how i order, also wont reach sgd12 for a plate of chap chai peng lor. 

but the portion is really big la. 3 bowls were too much for the 4 of us. rice overload! 

and of cuz, 怎么可以少了泡泡茶..... =)

the duty-free outlet really was not worth visiting. many of the brands are also available in sg and they are not very much cheaper either. it's just like shopping in IMM like that. kidda wasted our time there... 

and the boys.... happy playing again

and there was this foc mini indoor playground..

yep, that's all for day 2. really nothing much. LOL

MelBourNe Day 1 - 11 ApriL 2019

haha, our long awaited melbourne trip! 

officially our 1st trip as a four-some

inside the hired car to the airport 

yeaaaa! 出国玩的感觉真好!

the start of the 7-hour flight... 

lucky the 2 boys were still quite cooperative. raythorous fell asleep shortly after take-off. and he couldnt be put into the bassinet cuz his legs could not fit into the bassinet totally... (but then, on the return flight, the stewardess did not dis-allow leh..) so hubb had to carry him lo.

and this rayous... really knew how to enjoy himself... 

glad he had a great time on-board.

our meal on board. isit only me? or is the meal portion really getting smaller? 

and rayous fell asleep towards the 2nd half of the journey. huat ahh! best thing to happen! haha. and, there was yanxi palace serial on-board, so instead of sleeping, which i usually do, i caught up on the episodes. 

time really flies super fast when u r bz with kids and when u r watching tv. 7hrs flight in an weeee of an eye! 

heng the 2 kids did not throw a din onboard. woohoo! 

we arrived at night in melbourne, and melbourne is 2hours ahead of sg. so, not wanting to galan gabok in the night, we stayed over at the parkroyal hotel at melbourne airport for the 1st night.

ordered room service. the start of our junk and fatty food journey........ all the deep fried and sweet stuff.... and it was really fries overload! 

and the 2 boys, super happy partying in the hotel room. LOL

yep, so that's abt all for the 1st day and 1st night.

back from melbourne and back at home! 

 actually we arrived SG on the wee morning of 19april, but had a 2nights staycation at the crown plaza hotel. that's y today then reached home. 

dropped the 2 boys off at MIL's place while hubb and i came back and do the unpacking and cleaning...

what to do... 

no helper at the mmt...... 

自己来咯......

ok, overall, not too bad a trip. 

spent quality time with the boys and did things that we probably wont ever do in sg. LOL

yepp. 

wait till got time then slowly post the pics. 

i think i did not finish posting the TW trip last yr also. 

haa.... 

ok, gotta go hang the clothes liao.. 

plenty of laundry to do, despite we already washed some in the melbourne apartment.. 

dont know need how many days to clear the laundry liao... and the rainy weather is not helping at all...

Really 1 luggage just for the kids.

Just dropped the boys at school, had breakfast at the hawker ctr and now on the bus back home.

No need to go work... 心情还真的愉悦蛮多的。

Anyway, took 1 day leave today to pack the stuff for the aussie trip which is tmr! 

Ahhh.

Was told will be quite cold, ytd last min galan gapok went to buy long John for the kids. Duh.

OK. 

Life without maid for abt 1 week liao.

Still in one piece. Heng ah.

Lucky we r going away.

回来再看怎么办。

Last yr Taiwan trip, I took literally one whole day to pack.

Shall see how it goes this time round. 

Should be faster I hope.

Been a super woman tdy.

Woke up at 7am and hang the clothes.

Then the boys woke up and attended to them.

After that we went out and after coming back, it seemed like non stop action liao.

Wash dishes, bath the boys, iron clothes, sew clothes, wash milk bottles, wash clothes etc etc etc etc...

If not for the lack of time and energy.. I probably will go and clean the windows and shower screen too.

Woah.

My back is aching xia.. really..

Lucky we r going overseas soon.

Just tong a few more days.

But come back will be horrible terrible again. 

Grrrr...Shivers....

And... it's really true that philippinos maids are more cunning and smart.

Totally caught off guard.

Lesson learnt.

Never mind.

I believe in karma and retribution.

Getting her is my karma for chasing my 1st maid away. 

One day, someone will definitely do to her what she did to me today.
